We had a fabulous weekend staying here, helped by good weather, despite the taller people having to bend to get through the doorways and avoid the ceiling beams! This is a quaint old cottage set up the hill in a quiet village in the Peaks, with a lovely view from the gazebo, morning or evening, made even better with a drink in hand! We were able to walk from the house, another bonus, and the cottage was well equipped and comfortable. There are a couple of pubs in the village as well, yet another bonus. A great place to stay.

Lovely views

Nice cottage but we were put off by all the notices on furniture saying what not to do it felt like walking into a museum!! Says the property is deep cleaned between visitors, there was a dead fly in a bedside draw, cobwebs around wooden furniture at the bottom & i had to wash the plastic microwave plate cover before i could use it & a couple of the things from the draw.
