Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Booked the accommodation for 2 nights to visit my husband who was in Carmarthen hospital awaiting an operation. Tried to ring the hosts twice to let them know what time my daughter and myself would arrive and only got voicemail. Tried to ring them again the following morning as the shower wasn’t working properly. Tried 3 to 4 times and no answer so left a voicemail. Leaving the following morning still no sign of them. Location ideal for us visiting the hospital. The view from the property is beautiful but because of bad weather, heavy rainfall, the single glazed windows steamed up and stayed that way the whole weekend so wouldn’t see the view anyway. The double bed was very comfortable and felt really snuggly. On entering the property it does have a smell of dampness and the floors in the hallway and toilet are spongy. The hosts did leave wine, milk and biscuits which is always a nice touch when you first arrive. We didn’t use the hot tub but it wasn’t clear if it was completely private to our property or shared with the other holiday properties which I was inclined to think it was because it stated only 40 minute sessions so I wouldn’t use it if it is shared. All in all it was ideal for our circumstances at the time but I would have been disappointed if we were actually holidaying there. It’s a shame we didn’t see the hosts as I could have discussed any problems with them
It's a place to hide away from the world. Kitchen a bit difficult to work within for a family of four (not much space, small pans, just one lid, no washing up brush/sponge - that sort of thing), and single-glazed windows make it steam up overnight, but other than that it's been lovely. Teens had lots of fun in the hot tub; grown-ups enjoyed the view over the fields, hills and deer in the distance and the beams in the open-plan kitchen/sitting room. For us, it just did the trick to take us far away from our everyday life - thanks!

We were welcomed by the owners on arrival.
We were welcomed by the owners on arrival. We had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us including milk and cake. The hot tub was really lovely and clean although it didn’t seem to be working on our last evening which was a shame as we would have liked to have used it properly in the nice weather. The gardens were lovely and the views amazing. Not anything to do locally but it is really well placed for travelling around. The owners very kindly recommended places for us to go. We found the property was small but had most of the things we needed to cook etc. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hangers in the wardrobe.

I would recommend this place to everyone just wish I booked for longer
