The apartment boasts spacious accommodation with a beautiful bay window in the living room, perfect for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing. Hesketh Park, Southport Pleasureland, Lord Street with many shops, restaurants and cafes, and the promenade and theatre are all within walking distance of Ash Villas. Other attractions in and around Southport include Sandcastle Waterpark, Ainsdale and Birkdale Sandhills Nature Reserve, as well as Southport Botanical Gardens and nearby Churchtown, a tranquil, historic village dating back to the Domesday Book.
There are a number of golf courses in the area and Southport plays host to a number of events each year, including Southport Airshow, Flower Show and the Food and Drink Festival. This location is very popular with nature enthusiasts, with the Marshside RSPB Nature Reserve within easy reach, where in the spring you can see brown hares boxing in the fields. In the early summer you’ll spot nesting birds like avocets and lapwings. During the winter, the skies fill with visiting waterfowl such as pink footed geese and wigeons.
