A very well presented´cottage’.
A very well presented´cottage’. Clean, spacious and comfortable with plenty of equipment for two. Our garden was large and well fenced for dogs and there was plenty of garden furniture. Only criticism of the provision was no toast rack, so pretty good! Two Negatives: 1. Very potholed local roads. 2. IF we had brought a dog it would have helped if the path to our front door had been fenced to keep this side of the house separate from our neighbour’s garden. Better for the neighbours too as their dog came into our cottage because of this.

Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation.
Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Garden enclosured but not secure for our escapee pup who managed to slip through to adjacent field. However having the use of the fields with permission from owners to walk round was very useful. Great bed and shower facilities. Would recommend.

Rented for my elderly parents whilst making alterations to their home. Great property in a lovely area, with excellent facilities; particularly good for guests with mobility issues. The Owner was easy to contact and couldn't have been more helpful.Future guests with dogs should be aware that access to private garden is through neighbouring barn's garden.

Having been doing this type of holiday with our dogs for several years I can definitely say this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. Every little detail has been thought of ; the bathroom is fantastic with its wetroom and bath ;the bedroom is huge with underfloor heating throughout the property. Off road parking with large enclosed garden for the dogs is a bonus
Would love to return in the spring !

I have given the location a lower rating (however I mean the positioning of the cottage as opposed to the actual location). Blackberry Barn has no privacy when the adjoining cottage is occupied. It might be better to have vertical blinds at the lovely large windows instead of curtains so that you could let the light in but not be imposed upon by people in the garden of the attached/adjoining cottage. It was quite disconcerting. Sorry. However the cottage itself and the landlady were excellent. This has also reflected on the lower score for "value for money".
