We love it at the Jam Store. That’s why we’ve been 4 times.

A very comfortable apartment.
A very comfortable apartment. We were there in late Nov but owner was waiting for us with the heating already on. Altogether a very pleasant stay, the large enclosed porch area very useful to dry off dog and remove our shoes and coats before entering the property. Would definitely stay again at this warm, cosy, well equipped property.

The jam store was an excellent place to stay for stunning views.
The jam store was an excellent place to stay for stunning views. It was so comfortable and relaxing. Great coastal walks and Bus stop right outside property. It could have resulted in a new lick of paint and update. Propertier was charming to meet. Restaurant and local pubs very friendly and excellent food.

We spent Xmas at the cottage, clean & comfortable - weather was horrendous! But Xmas day was dry, bright & sunny!! The beach is beautiful - dogs paradise in all weathers. Ate at the Merrymore hotel - food was good & plenty of it! Service great!! Well worth the money. Went to Catch which is more upmarket but found it expensive - did not have lobster or mussels although it was on the menu. Roger - the cottage owner was friendly & helpful - but although the cottage is 300m from the beach it does mean a steep down-hill 10 min walk or going down steep steps. He left us plenty of extras - even bacon & eggs!! Thank you Roger. Your jams are delicious!! It is a lovely place but you must have a car to get about.
