About this property

New Luxury Cottage in Muskoka that blends new finishes with a cottage feel

This cottage is located on a private island with bridge access in beautiful Port Severn. Set among st the charming tree lined shore of Gloucester Pool lake, this stunning cottage sleeps 13 comfortably. We offer direct access to the water and the most breathtaking view of a Port Severn sunset all year long.

The cottage sits on 1.8 acres with very pretty large trees and over 180 ft of shoreline.

The cottage is within a short drive to local small shops/restaurants and is within 20 min to larger towns with full grocery. If you like Ice Cream, you have to visit the Ice Breaker ice cream shop in Port Severn which is actually on a renovated boat. The Grill is a great stop for casual waterfront dining. Breakfast, lunch or dinner you wont be disappointed by the food or view.

The Main floor of this cottage has cathedral ceilings, open plan living room with large fireplace and kitchen with a large granite island and stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher and beverage centre).

Cottage sleeps 10-13 in 4 bedrooms. Master bedroom offers King bed with ensuite bathroom and walk out to deck with lake view. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and the third bedroom comes with double/twin bunk bed. The upstairs loft guest suite sleeps 6, with a queen, double and 2 singles and 3 piece bathroom.

There is a Games room upstairs with a large screen TV, billiards table, Foosball and board games. It also includes a Wii U and an PlayStation 3 so you or your kids can bring your own games!.

We have a large outdoor deck both front and back of the cottage to sit and enjoy all that surrounds you. If you are lucky you may receive a visit from our local beaver, he loves to sunbathe on our rocks.

Our Muskoka room is a great place to relax, read a book, have a drink or meal and just enjoy yourself. We also offer a BBQ for your use.

Gloucester Pool is known for its great fishing and our family and friends have caught lots of great fish right off the dock and shoreline.

Cottage rental comes with a canoe, pedal boat, kayaks and swimming platform.

Rental rate assumes a maximum of 10 guests. Additional guests will include a fee.

Cottage is protected with security cameras provided by Huronia Security, Minimum age requirement of 35 for cottage rental.

Garbage must be sorted according to the County guidelines, if not sorted properly a $100 disposal fee will be charged to the guest.
For safety we ask that no glass be used outside the cottage, please bring beer cans not bottles if at all possible. We provide plastic cups.

Beautiful creekside retreat property

Impressive great room for group of 8, well stoked kitchen with small appliances and cooking utensils. Fun loft bedroom for families with kids, nook style twin beds. Play room with pool table, video games and perfect bar top table for a puzzle. Very responsive and supportive host for any questions leading up to or during our stay. Great setup of firewood for living room, to make the stay extra cozy during a snow squall weekend up north.

A perfect stay!

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The house is gorgeous and exactly as advertised. The layout really contributed to our family coming together for quality fun time. Rick was incredibly responsive and ensured everything ran smoothly. The pictures of the property do not do justice to the property’s beauty! We stayed in October, and despite the colder temperatures, we were not deterred from cold lake dives and kayaking. Every morning, my husband and I snuck away to a coffee shop 10 minutes away that we adored; the coffee and pastries did not disappoint! We will absolutely return!

EXCEEDED EXPECTATION

Repeat customer. The host is amazing, GOAT in hospitality. Beyond having a perfect area for friends to gather, no matter the weather Rick has created a harm and fun atmosphere in his home. You can depend on him to check in and make sure everything is perfect. He made us feel at home and he is the reason we dont rent anywhere else. If you are looking for a perfect place to stay no need to look any further.

Nice place

This cottage is as shown on the advertisement. It is beautiful and quiet and the fishing is great. The cottage is clean except for the hot tub. I worked to try and clean it however it’s not my responsibility but I don’t mind helping. The tub needed to be drained and refilled. Other than that small gliche, it was awesome and the owner was very attentive .

We had an amazing stay at the cottage! The fall colors around the property were absolutely beautiful, and the cozy setup made it the perfect autumn getaway. this property has all the amenities for a lovely stay. extra benefit of bedding and towels provided is definately appreciatedIt’s nice and quiet obviously well insulated for noise inside. Prefect getaway!

The cottage and property were beautiful and looked just like the pictures. We had a great time swimming & paddle boarding when it was nice but the cottage was well set up to entertain us all when it rained too!

Beautiful cottage stay for family reunion

My family and I had a great stay at Rick's. There were 9 of us total, ranging in age from 6 months old to 89 years of age, and everyone had a comfortable and relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed the direct access to the water and variety of boats (plus life jackets in all sizes!) that we had access to. Indoors, there were all kinds of toys and games for all, even for my toddler, and the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to stay in and cook all our meals.It was very easy book our stay and communicate with Rick. I would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to come back someday, it was so beautiful!

Amazing Luxury Cottage

We had a wonderful time at Rick’s cottage. The place has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing stay, the kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms are comfortable and many games/ entertainment options. I brought my 6mo baby, so it’s also kids friendly. We are planning to be back on summer. Rick is great, the communication throughout was really smooth. Highly recommend.

The property was as advertised. Pictures don't do it justice. The large open space was perfect for our group of 8 friends, allowing us all to still be together whether in the kitchen/living area or the games room. Rick was easy and pleasant to deal. We would love to go back!

Girls Weekend
