Maryellen, I'm sorry you feel the need to be so negative. Yes our camp is old and we are updating everyday hence the new fridge, tv, mircrowave, hot water tank, air conditioners in two rooms which fully cool the small house. New beds, couches, porch furniture as well as picnic table. We have never advertised this to be a luxury palace. It I a small cottage on a lake. There are pots and pans, plates cups and utensils. I try to make sure my guest have what they need. As stated in my contract guest must bring their own bedding and towels. I have never had anyone ask me for extra pillows or even mention a problem with the pillows. There are two pillows in the master bedroom and one on each bed in the other bedroom. But when you did mention that you thought that I should have more pillows, I took that into consideration and bought a few more pillows for future guest. I try to take my guest suggestions to make future renters more comfortable. As for the cottage not being clean, you sent me pictures the day after you arrived. The first one said that there was a few crumbs on the floor under the kitchen stool and that you picked them up. The next one later on was about the bathroom and at that point it sounded like you had wiped it down. I apologized for that, and told you I was going to speak to the cleaning company. It had seemed like you had cleaned whatever you felt was dirty which is why I never sent a cleaning person over. The baseboards have been cleaned over and over again, they are old as is the house. My other renters have not complained about the age of the house or it not being clean. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, good luck in the future.

Thanks so much for the review Paul, I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay. There are few places down at the center to rent Kayak's and such. I'm also sorry that you did find the pots, pans, knife and the cutting boards they are in the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen. Though I did just pick up a few cookie sheet trays that fit the oven. I do have all of that in the kitchen. I also try to leave some menu's and pamphlets with local places to go on the table in the livingroom. The vanity did just go in this weekend so that is much better for the toiletries in the bathroom. I also cleared out the closet in the master bedroom so guest can put away their clothes and bags. We do have two fans in the house one in the kids bedroom which is a large fan and you can adjust. I believe the tower fan did loose the on/off button though. Thank you for your suggestions, and you are correct we are always updating and trying to make the place better and better! Hope we see you again next year!
