Time to get away from it all? Time to unplug? This is the place! Come visit and enjoy the serenity and peaceful atmosphere of this log cabin. It's nestled in the woods and there's lots of greenery and wildlife - deer, turkey, rabbits, birds.

The cabin's 3 bedroom, 2 full baths has everything you need. Fully furnished with bedding and bath towels, fully furnished kitchen, clothes washer/dryer, central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans in all rooms, stone wood burning fireplace, propane gas grill, hanging swing and rocker on front porch, or enjoy the outdoor fire pit.

Take a walk. Go hiking. Sip that morning coffee on the front porch while gently rocking in the rocking chair. Have a cookout. Read a book.

Have lots of brochures and pamphlets on things to do around the area such as - Cumberland Falls State Park, Laurel Lake, Treetop Adventures at Levi Jackson State Park, Air Raid Trampoline, Camp Wildcat Battlefield, Wildcat ATV Adventure Park, local wineries, (plenty of room to park ATVs/trailers at the cabin). Or you can do nothing! It's up to you!

Have a boat? Great fishing on nearby Woods Creek Lake. Have a kayak? Woods Creek Marina is only 3 miles from the cabin. The marina is open 24 hours from the 3rd week of April until the 2nd week of October. Launch fee is $5; overnight dock fee is $2. Plenty of room at the cabin to park a boat/trailer.

Wildcat ATV Park is only 15 miles from the cabin. Plenty of room to park trucks with ATV trailers.

There is no internet or cable/satellite (you're getting away from it all :-). All wireless cell service works at the cabin.

There is a wide selection of DVDs/Videos (including children’s), and an array of board games and poker chips.

Great proximity to Wildcat Offroad Park

Judy met us at the drive and literally made us feel at home from the start. Cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, she had been very thorough during check in and going through the house rules. There had been three couples staying, all dragging various lengths of trailers pulling side-by-sides with ample parking onsite. Highly recommend anyone looking to stay in/around London, KY to consider this cabin! Peaceful setting and the whippoorwill at night was a realxing touch! Judy made our stay feel as though it was our home away from home.

Short vacation.

The property was perfect for our needs. It is Well equipped and clean. Judy did a great job explaining where everything was and answered any questions that came up. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Cabin in the Woods

Judy was an excellent host and the cabin was spacious and everything was as described. Also very secluded and our dog had a great time. Weather was a little rainy and cool but the premises and host were great. She texted to warn of a potential tornado in the area. Also lives 5 minutes away. Plenty of room for 6-8 guests.

Another great experience.

Another great experience at this property. Clean, quiet, and relaxing. This is an excellent location to feel away from it all without really being too far from the world. I can’t recommend this property enough.

You will be glad you stayed here!

Our family made plans to stay here for a short weekend trip. The cabin was cleaner than any other rental we have ever stayed in. When we walked in, Judy made us feel like we were family and greeted us warmly. She would have provided anything to make our stay more enjoyable. The linens, comforters and towels were high quality and were what we would have chosen for our home. What a sweet secluded place. The cabin seemed bigger in person than in the pictures. We enjoyed precious family time here, and would jump at the chance to return. Our family made joyful memories here.

I live in London Kentucky and love this area. It's slower paced and the people are very friendly. I am originally from Buffalo, NY but have lived in Kentucky for 32 years - eight of that has been here in London. I built this log cabin in 2003 for my family to enjoy as a vacation home. My intent then was to build a house nearby on Wood Creek Lake and then share the cabin with others to enjoy. That dream happened.

Why they chose this property

I love this area. I was looking for lake property and in 2002 bought two pieces of land in the Daniel Boone National Forest. One a wooded land lot and the other a lakefront lot on Wood Creek Lake. I built the log cabin in 2003 and built the lake house in 2015. So I currently live about 1/2 mile from the log cabin. It's so pretty and peaceful. I love seeing the wildlife in the yard or as I drive down the road - deer, turkey, rabbit, fox. Yet it is not so far away from town - about 10 miles.
