Tre Campi, Cardoso is a spacious three bedroom, 2 bathroom detached cottage with private pool in an idyllic, peaceful and private location only 40 minutes from Lucca!
Walking distance of restaurant. Beautiful private pool with roman steps.
Tre Campi is situated in ample grounds and is a traditonal style Italian house with large garden, own pool, wonderful covered loggia for al fresco dining and relaxing, BBQ and traditional wood burning pizza/bread oven.
Internally the house is spacious and well equipped, with living/diner complete with fireplace, beamed ceilings and tradtional flooring, modern fully equipped kitchen/breakfast room, 3 good size light and airy bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. There is WIFI too.

It was great to live in an authentic family villa. The villa interior expressed an intimate insight into the people that had lived there. The pool and surrounding area was generous and perfectly maintained with the host cleaning it every morning. The villa exceeded our expectations. We recommend this villa, the hosts and the quieter, more genuine regional location to anyone wanting a real Tuscan experience.

Wonderful house

Very well equipped property, beautifully clean and an amazing pool. Ideal for families. The loggia, BBQ, and wood fired oven were great fun and allowed us to cook together and eat outside. Just enjoyed 7 nights in this wonderful property and can't really fault the place. Although we were unlucky with the weather (you take your chances in late September), we found the outdoor space to be ideal, especially the covered area. We were very well looked after by Amilio & Patrizia throughout our stay and would recommend this place to anyone... Hope to visit again soon.

Great vacation

We enjoyed the stay a lot. The house is very nice and clean. It is equipped with everything you need. The pool ist great and perfect for relxing. The view from the garden ist really nice. September Autumn break

The property was clean and well equipped the pool was large and very clean. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. Weather was against us as the area is quite mountainous and therefore subject o fluctuations. Car is essential. Small town nearby has everything required. Restaurant within walking distance down a steep winding road but unfortunately was closed for the majority of our stay.

Family holiday

We had a fantastic stay. The villa is beautiful and well equipped with everything you shall need. It is clean, towels are provided and every room is furnished beautifully. All windows have shutters and mosquito nets which are essential. The pool is amazing, plenty of sun loungers and pretty lighting in the evening. The children had loads of room to play football. There are several seating areas outside which is lovely. The hosts are brilliant. A lovely welcome pack greeted us. They are available to contact throughout the stay and were incredibly responsive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa.

Relaxing

We were in end of June/early July. We arrived on a Sunday and we welcome with a basket of groceries. We were very grateful for that, the have something to eat after a long trip and also for breakfast. The owners were very helpful with anything. The home is very nice in a quit area with a nice view of the lower lying towns. The bedroom was very warm and we did not want to open it because of mosquitos. A mosquito net for the window would have been great or even a ventilator.

Fantastic views, pool fab size and clean, great house

We went with a 16 year old son - happy in pool., (was fenced off if have younger children).18 yr old daughter wanted views - hammock for reading. Outside pizza oven, barbecue, 3 different eating areas, seating around pool. House 3 double big bedrooms, equipped kitchen with a lovely food box on arrival . Lovely small towns and areas to walk close by, Lucca by car 50 mins away we spent a few days exploring, the fantastic city. A relaxing train journey into Florence from Lucca. Host was brilliant at answering questions and booking places to eat if we asked for a certain type of place to eat. For a fussy lady - I couldn’t fault it at all, garden was really tidy with flowers and we were lucky to have fresh apricots off the tree.

Wonderful Tuscan holiday - lots to do and relaxing too

This has to have been one of the most wonderful houses we have stayed in. The house was beautiful in so many ways, finished to a 5 star standard, traditional furnishings, everything we could ever need or wish for. It was comfortable for all of us. The pool was simply sumptuous, perfect size, superbly clean and well appointed. I couldn't be more positive. We are a family of 4 with 2 active boys, the owner helped us to organise an amazing bike ride, and offered so much more too. We'll be back for some of the other offerings sometime soon. The house could easily accommodate more people and we considered how easy it would be to have other people with us. The owner was immensely helpful at all stages. We loved this house and were very sad to leave it. Can't wait until we go back again.

Beautiful

The property is located in a beautiful area, it was stunning. So peaceful and relaxing, so many trees! The property itself was comfortable, had everything we needed and was very homely, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. The welcome pack provided by the property owners was very much appreciated as was the regular supply of fresh farm eggs, which were delicious! One of the things we loved about the property was the different areas where you could sit so you could follow the shade if you wanted to, and have a different view from each. Two local train stations were in easy reach (driving) and it was very simple to get the train to Lucca and Pisa, both of which provide very good days out. We also visited a number of the local villages and towns (by car), which are all different and some very pretty, definitely worth exploring. One slight negative about the property description. It’s described as ‘detached’. It isn’t, there is a much smaller home attached to it although the owners were only there at the weekends during the two weeks we stayed at Tre Campi. It didn’t detract from our stay though.Overall, a beautiful place to stay, both the property and the location, with lovely property owners who kept the place very clean and were always on hand if we had any questions (many thanks to Francesco and his mum!). Highly recommended.

What a vacation

I spend 2 weeks in the Villa Tre Campi through july 2024, and it was a really great stay. The area is 30min by car north of Lucca, which should not be a surprise to anyone. That area is amazing, and offers splendid views from more or less anywhere you look. It is not touristed, and it is an opportunity to experience the authentic Italy. It requires an effort to get there, but when you are, it is worth the effort. What actually surprised us the most was the quality of the outdoor area, and the fact that the owner showed up every morning before 07 to water flowers and make sure the surroundings looked perfect. The pool was cleaned every other day, and there simply was nothing more to ask about. I give the location 3 stars, but that is a personal reflection. The area just south of Lucca is also spectacular, but much easier to reach. We could though drive all the way to the house, which is not either possible everywhere. The house is a classic tuscan house, that you can find many places, but the outdoor facilities was a difference. Even the young drummer next door felt natural to listen to through the warm afternoons :o). Thank you Francesco, it was a great vacation. One of the kind we did not want to end.

A very special property

We have just come back from our ten nights holiday in this wonderful property which is hosted by the lovely Patrizia and her extremely helpful and kind son, Francesco. On arrival Francisco was waiting at the property to welcome us, show us around, explain things to us, and answer any questions. Francesco was then always available via text to kindly help us make restaurant reservations, etc. He was always very quick to respond, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had everything we might need. He is such a lovely person. It was very nice also to meet Patrizia. Her jar of gorgeous homemade jam was a special treat in amongst the very generous box of welcome provisions in the kitchen. The house is a beautiful and traditional Italian home with three big sized bedrooms (that each have a fan and mosquito blinds), a shower room with WC, sink and bidet, a downstairs shower room with WC, small kitchen with everything you could possibly need, and a cosy living room. There were plenty of towels for all us, and Francesco even delivered a big box of more towels mid-stay! There is a fantastic laundry room, too. We absolutely adored the property's stunning outdoors with breathtaking views all around. The swimming pool was amazing, aswell as its eight sun longers, parasol, and cabina. The two outdoor covered dining areas are also excellent; in particular the beautiful loggia situation next to the impressive outdoor-kitchen and pizza oven. Perfection. welcome us a,explain

Das Haus und Grundstück war super. Wie beschrieben! Im Haus und drum herum ist eigentlich alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Vom Grill über einen gemauerten Holzfeuer-Pizzaofen inkl. notwendigem Zubehör, Pool mit Liegen und Schirmen, Bialetti-Kaffeekocher, Töpfe, Pfannen, Waschmaschine und Ständer usw.Die Gastgeber sind super nett. Zur Begrüßung gab es Eier von seinen eigenen Hühnern und vieles weiter von Olivenöl über Nudeln bis Marmelade. Seine Mutter hat sich mehrmals die Woche um die Pflanzen des weitläufigen Gartens und den Pool gekümmert. Ebenfalls eine sehr liebenswerte Dame. Einmal hat sich uns süßes Gebäck mitgebracht. Auch konnte ich Francesco immer (per WhatsApp) um Rat oder Empfehlungen bitten z.B. was Restaurants oder Geschäfte betrifft. Man wohnt recht abgelegen. Die umliegenden Orte haben alles zum einkaufen, bieten ansonsten aber nicht viel.Dafür hat man seine Ruhe und ist trotzdem auch mal schnell in Lucca oder in einer guten Stunde auch in Florenz.

Sehr geräumiges, praktisches, im Stil der Region eingerichtetes, schön rennoviertes ehemaliges Bauernhaus, auf großem Grundstück, mit tollem, eingezäuntem Pool, gut ausgestatteter Küche, in allen Belangen der Beschreibung entsprechend. Francesco und seine Mutter sind sehr zuvorkommende, freundlicje, gute Gastgeber. Die Gegend lädt ein zum Wandern, Radfahren oder Ausflüge machen, z. B. ist Lucca traumhaft schön, Pisa auch gut und schnell zu erreichen. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nahen Umgebung. Wir als Familie mit Hund haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ruheoase mit Makeln

Das Haus ist sehr schön, die Inneneinrichtung aber in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Austausch zumindest der elektrischen Geräte wäre sehr empfehlenswert. Was gänzlich nicht beschrieben wird, ist die Tatsache, dass es sich um eine Doppelhaushälfte handelt. Die andere Hälfte gehört Leuten die wohl nur am Wochenende kommen, aber dann auf sich aufmerksam machen. Entweder mit extra lauter Musik oder Sonntagmorgens mit Benzin Rasentrimmern auch nicht davor halt machen, bis auf ein paar Meter an den Frühstückstisch zu kommen und extrem laut die Luft verpesten. Denen merkt man deutlich an, dass Touristen/Urlauber nicht erwünscht sind und tun auch vieles dafür.Das WLAN im Haus ist für Arbeitende nicht geeignet, es gab ständig Ausfälle. Die Küchenausstattung mit Geschirr und Besteck ist ausreichend. Draußen befindet sich ein toller Holzbackofen den man auch benutzen darf und wo es auch genügend Holz für gibt. Daneben ist allerdings ein ganz kleiner Weg und der wird von Hausfremden Personen genutzt. Eines Abends raste ein junger Mann mit seinem Roller da hoch und runter, wir haben uns total erschrocken.
