Beautiful cabin style house 10 minutes from stunning beach. Everything you could possibly need, huge light and airy living spaces. Comfortable sofas and beds. Lots of thoughtful touches like shampoo, shower gel and store cupboard basics. Dominique and family clearly put lots of thought and care in to making sure their guests have a comfortable stress free stay. Local walks along beach, swims in the waves, Cambrian mountains half an hour away. Didn't want to leave.. we will be back soon. Thank you for welcoming us in to your beautiful home.

Thank you for your lovely feedback, Malcolm. We are really happy you enjoyed your stay and that Linkside provided everything you needed for it to feel like 'home'.
We were visiting Aberystwyth for our son’s graduation and decided to have a family reunion at the same time. Linkside was the perfect size and location, plenty of bedrooms and space for the 9 of us. Clean and well equipped, with a large garden for the kids to play outside. Hosts were wonderful and responsive. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Linkside exceeded our expectations, absolutely loads of space, great communal kitchen space and large lounge, and a good selection of bedrooms. The place was clean, and communication was great. Only wish we'd known we could have borrowed beach stuff and used the washing machine earlier!

The fact we have some beach stuff for our guests to borrow and the availability of a washing machine are mentioned in our listing. I'm sorry you hadn't found this information before your stay.
We hope to welcome you again in the future 😀
The property is very well equipped and in a good location.
Plenty of room inside and out.
The owners were very easy to contact and ensured all was as it should be.

Wow, what an amazing place in a fantastic location.
Everyone loved it and we are all plotting our return.
Having run a holiday let ourselves we know first hand how much goes into these things and the owners are really doing an amazing job. Unable to find anything that could be improved upon.
Hope to be back soon.

And of course, we'd love to welcome you back!
We are a family of 11 6 adults and 5 children of all ages .. it was just perfect facilities in cottage were great loads of outdoor space for the kids the weather was kind to us which helped .. only a small thing .. but there is no empty cupboards in kitchen so all of the food which was not for fridge had to sit on the counter tops .. it was great that there was more than enough of everything but a cupboard just for us to store groceries would have been good

Thank you for your lovely review.
We have a a very large empty drawer below the cooker as well as the lower half of the old kitchen cupboard next to the door. We always leave them empty so guests can store groceries.
There is also extra storage in the outside utility area where the fridge freezer is located.
This is the most amazing holiday home, its in a great location we enjoyed lots of beavh walks and swimming in rhe see in Borth. The property is beautiful and so well equipped, we've been at this a while and always come equipped but we didn’t need to in this case. We all fell in love with the kitchen dinner, it was perfact for us, well equipped so we could cook amd bake yo our hearts content while chatting to the rest of the group. The whole house was well stocked and had plenty of room, and the living room was perfect for our evening chats and watching the Olympic highlights.

And yes, because we use the house ourselves, it's very well equipped and it saves having to bring everything and the kitchen sink...

Just returned from a great week in Borth. The property was great, brilliant location (about a 20walk into borth, 5minutes to the beach/dunes and just seconds from the golf course), everything we needed was in the house and a fantastic enclosed garden to kick the kids out to.
We we went as 2 families, 5 kids and the mother in law so 10 in total and we weren’t short for space at all. Plenty of parking too.
Communication from host was spot on - before, during and after.
Would definitely recommend.

Thank you for giving us such a positive review. We hope to welcome you again in the future.
What a superb property, had everything you might need in the way of all the mod cons. The location is stunning, and the beach is as good as any abroad. Sunsets are fantastic from the hill opposite of which your neighbours (friendly bunch) joined us at the same time.
Loads of space inside and out…perfect for a family of up to 11.
The owner lets you use the majority of their own personal high quality items, such as the mood lighting and BOSE systems.
Wi Fi gives reasonable coverage and is consistent.
The bungalow is HUGE, such a relief at times when trying to find a quiet spot.
I hope one day we shall return, it’s the perfect place to wind down and relax.
Loved our week here. The bungalow is gorgeous, the photos don’t do it justice. Amazing views and it’s so well equipped. The owners left some really thoughtful touches for my husband’s birthday. Very comfy beds and everything you could think of to make your stay more enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean and well equipped bungalow set in a stunning location. Dominique is so helpful and has gone the extra mile to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Particularly with the current coronavirus situation. She had hung crocheted birthday bunting which was so lovely and unexpected. Of all the places we have stayed in Wales, this is at the top. Thank you.

This was a lovely, superbly provisioned bungalow. Nice quiet location and the soundproofing quality of the windows was excellent. Located on a quiet road a short walk from a boulder beach it was a great place to get away from it all and although the wind was quite strong some of the time the place was very snug. We were 6 adults and 4 children but there were no issues about space. Books, games and DVDs to suit all ages. Excellent level of kitchen/dining utensils and crockery. WiFi could do with a booster at the opposite end of the cottage to the router, and a third proper double bed or the ability to create one would be the only, and minor, less than wholly positive comments.
This property looked really beautiful on the photos on this site but it even exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful bungalow. It accommodated our family of nine plus toddler easily in its large open rooms and outside space. Everything is immaculate and spotlessly clean with comfortable living spaces and beds. We had a great holiday. Beach access is nearby and amenities just down the road. Golfers well catered for too. Laurence and Dominique could not be more helpful and informative. A slight problem we had was cleared up in a couple of hours on a Bank Holiday! Very impressed. Will recommend to family and friends and anybody reading this review.

Linkside was a truly lovely place to stay. Superbly equipped, fantastic space, wonderful hosts!
A very warm welcome awaited us with a lovely personalised welcome card and welcome treats! There was milk in the fridge, tea and coffee and all the little things you might not remember to pack! A very comfortable home with lots of space - brilliant for us as 3 families spending a week together. Fabulous setting, with a stroll on to the beach and plenty to explore a short drive away. We would highly recommend Linkside! Thank you Dominique and Laurence :-)

About the host
Hosted by Laurence & Dominique
Laurence is an engineer and Dominique is a teacher and mental health therapist. This has been our family's second home since 1978. We have spent many precious weekends and holidays in Mid Wales.
Why they chose this property
The bungalow dates from around 1920. It was completely refurbished during 2012 and 2017: a new roof, new windows, new wiring, plumbing, central heating, extensive insulating and (fireproof) cladding with cedar weatherboard as well as a new garage/ utility room and self-contained studio.
What makes this property unique
The bungalow is very spacious, light and comfortable. All ceilings and walls are wood which makes for a cosy feel! The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen/diner have a laminate floor whereas the living room is carpeted. The house has all the 'mod cons' but has retained a lot of the original features. It is located in a quiet area but is not isolated: the village and shops are less than 5 minutes' drive away. Its main attractions without a doubt are the views over the Cambrian Mountains at the back of the property (East), its large, fenced garden and its proximity to the golf course, the dunes and the beach. The front of the property (West) has some sea view and benefits from some stunning sunsets. It really is ideal for families who enjoy walking, swimming, kite flying, bodyboarding or just chilling on the beach.
