This welcoming, modern canal front duplex home provides a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for your vacation in the Florida Keys! Drop your bags and immediately begin to experience the laid back life that is Key Colony Beach.

Lush tropical foliage and high fencing surrounds the exterior of the property offering significant privacy.

The home features an enormous 15' x 20' screened porch complete with lighting, ceiling fans, dining area for six + separate seating area for six.

Beyond the porch is the patio featuring three separate seating areas - Adirondack chairs and table, chaise loungers and table.

For those wanting to fish or boat you have 37 feet total of deep water dockage so bring your boat or rent one locally and dock at the house. At the ready are hoses, electric, fish cleaning table and lighting.

Just bring your toothbrush as this home is fully stocked with amenities! Love to cook? The kitchen includes everything you need to prepare and enjoy your fresh catch.

You will also enjoy a neatly appointed living room with vaulted ceilings, dining room and family room + three bedrooms and two bathrooms

Large-screen Smart TVs with YouTubeTV package and a Channel lineup are located in the family room and the Master bedroom.

this was the perfect size location for our family. 3 bedrooms with 2 baths. Close to everything in Marathon and loved the use of the Cabana club. Kitchen well stocked and the outdoor space was amazing! Very relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at Keeper Cottage. It has everything you need. We were happy to not have to haul beach chairs and other things from VA. We loved having the washer and dryer and a full kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out all the time. Key Colony Beach is a great place to stay. We even took the kayak out one evening and brought our rental boat over to drop people off and pick up some other things. Marathon is a nice central location in the keys to visit Key West and everything in between. Hope to come back sometime.

A nice escape from winter in Key Colony Beach

The Keeper Cottage is in a great location. It was clean, nicely laid out, and well supplied. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and being able to use the dock. We also appreciated having access to the Cabana Club. We did make the recommendation before we left that the main king mattress and the beach chairs be replaced.

Great Stay

Property was clean, well cared for and in a great location. Nice quiet area with pool and beach access (as much “beach” as you find in the keys). Manager was responsive to questions and helped when we needed a package delivered to the property. Our group of five enjoyed our stay very much and it was nice that everyone had the option to hang out in their rooms, watch TV/movies or relax by the water. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay!

Our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids, 10 & under) had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed visiting the pool one day, beach another, and rented a boat for a few days. The kayak at the house was perfect to entertain kids up and down the canal. The house was super clean. If we needed anything, the property manager always responded pretty quickly. Great house, great place, and great family vacation.

Retirement Get Away!

We stayed two weeks at the Keeper Cottage. The weather was absolutely wonderful! We ate breakfast and dinner every day on the screened in porch. Having easy access to the boat made it worth traveling from North Carolina. It was a perfect way to celebrate 42 years working and retiring. We will definitely book again!

Loved the location, easy access by boat to the bay and ocean side. We kayaked Duck Key and Curry Hammock St Park, enjoyed Sombrero beach. The house is only an hour by car from Key West or Islamorada. We loved the nightly neighborhood celebration watching the sunset at the park. Extremely clean and well equipped home. The only thing it could use are some new pillows and a cork screw. We really didn’t want to leave.

Excellent Getaway!

There were no recent reviews for the property so we were a little nervous walking in but the house looked exactly like the photos! It smelled clean and we were greeted with a bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter. Everything was represented 100% accurate. Key Colony is a sleepy little beach town and exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed a few trips to Inch Beach, took a fishing charter with Captain Tadd (caught our limit of Mangrove Snapper in less than an hour so he took us to two different snorkeling spots!), and enjoyed some local restaurants. We cooked dinner at home several nights and I have never been in a rental house as well equipped as this one! Pretty much everything we needed in a kitchen was there! One minor issue was the power for the house...if the hot water heater, air conditioning and range were on at the same time then the main breaker would trip. We quickly figuredout the workaround...after we showered before dinner, we killed the hot water heater breaker so we could cook, then after dinner we turned the hot water heater back on. A little creative power management made the small inconvenience a non-issue. We loved this house and our first Keys experience and look forward to returning soon!

Our stay in Key Colony did not disappoint. This cottage was spacious and well appointed. Close to both ends of the Keys for day trips. Visited the dolphin research center. Wonderful work happening there ! The Cabana Club was a great bonus! Would highly recommend your stay here!

Paradise found

This house was perfect for our group. A king size bed in both bedrooms was the key. So comfortable. The house was just the right size for 2 couples. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances. The screened in porch was perfect for breakfast. The seating area outside on the turf was the best. We were there to paddleboard and launched off the dock out back, very convenient with many places to explore. Sunset beach is right around the corner where everyone gathers for a sunset celebration. The only thing that we really would change is to have basic cable or directv. The only available TV was internet so we had no local channels or football. Also I fall asleep watching TV and that was a challenge when I went to bed trying to find something on the limited internet bedroom TV and the last night it would not even hook up to the internet, not a deal breaker because we were not there to watch TV but at night when you were winding down local channels would be nice. Overall the place is clean, comfortable and feels like home and it's in a great location, we will be returning .

A pretty much perfect week.

This house is located a short walk from Sunset Park. It is well furnished and very comfortable. The large screened-in Patio is a wonderful space. I would stay here again.

A wonderful place for a family vacation!

This property was the perfect spot for our family vacation! The property was spotless when we arrived and had everything we could have needed. Gregg was great at promptly replying when we accidentally locked ourselves out and made our time a breeze. The location was ideal, right on the water, near the two beaches and almost everything was in walking distance. It was a beautiful property and the outdoor area was the perfect spot to make lots of memories! Thanks for providing a great spot for my family! We will absolutely be back!

A Week in The Keys

The house was spectacular to say the least & everything about it worked out well with our group. The dock was in great condition, which always eases your mind when you bring your boat along. The Cabana Club was a fun way to spend a few afternoons & the drinks were refreshing. KC is a great neighborhood for biking & walking, and the permanent neighbors were very friendly. We enjoyed the porch and the outside area everyday and cannot wait to book and do it again!
