Really close to the park and store. Great clean spot. Has WiFi that’s helpful to have. Beds were comfortable. Has everything you need for a getaway to the lake
Close to the boat ramp. Wish cell phone signal was better for AT&T. WiFi doesn’t connect in your room but we were just there to fish anyway. I thought it was good for the price.
Over all good experience. It was secluded and quiet. Owner/proprietor was excellent to communicate with. They had a wifi issue and they fixed as needed and communicated well throughout. Property was as advertised and for the price was a good choice for our needs.
This modest little duplex, while simple, exceeded our expectations. The property and grounds were very clean and well maintained. I was surprised to find how well stocked it was, with things like dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, tp, bags, etc. While there is no indoor cooking, there is a microwave, a grill outside, and a decent sized mini fridge. There were even utensils, plates, bowls, cups, and mugs. The review that was unhappy about no tv should not skew their rating. It clearly states on the description that there is no tv, which wasn’t a problem for us. There is WiFi, which is a necessity because there is no cell reception in the area (at least for AT&T).
The property manager, Robin was onsite and very friendly. She and Todd were very helpful and pleasant. Will be returning hopefully one day.

Thank you for your comment. I am not sure when the original building was built. The structure has been completely gutted and rebuilt, including the plumbing and wiring, within the past 10 years.
You are correct. There is no TV in the 3 smaller cabins.

"away from it all" theme is correct
The property was beautiful. I should have asked more questions. Come nightfall with a 5 year old and NO TV is a bit difficult. You can only color so much. I didn't even think to ask of there was a TV , I assumed there would be one. If I had known i could have brought more to entertain my 5 year old daughter. They really need to invest in new beds! You wake up hurting all over. The hot water lasted for about 3 minutes, had to get out of the shower and wait for the water to heat back up so I could rinse my hair. Couldn't force my 5 year old to take a cold shower so she didn't have a good bath for 2 days. Can't fish from the bank due to so much grass in the water. We left 2 days early because of the hot water and the beds and no TV. This place is perfect for someone looking to get "away from it all" as the theme suggest. Next year before booking a cabin on the lake, I will for sure ask more questions. The owners were nice. It wasn't a horrible place, just not my cup of tea.

You are correct about there being no TV. The amenities are clearly listed and TV is not listed nor is one visible in the pictures. Our guests don't really come to the lake to watch TV so we haven't really had anyone who was unhappy about that. You may have been more comfortable in one of our larger cabins. They have full kitchens, full sized hot water heaters, bath tubs, toy boxes, TVs and DVD players. There is no satellite or cable service in the park. The last several weeks our guests have been fishing from the bank, on our property, and have had really good luck.
Thank you,

Great little cabin!
We had never stayed at this property before. It was nice and it is what we expected based on the description that is on the website. The cabin was clean and just as pictured on the website. We were a little surprised that we shared a screened in porch with the cabin next door. Cabins 4 and 5 are like a little duplex and they share the screened porch. The porch was quite nice and it was not a problem to share with our neighbors because they were very pleasant and courteous. It is definitely a bonus if you go with someone you know and you want that common area to hang out in. We will definitely go back!

Awesome secluded getaway
Had such a good experience. The owners had really fast communication as we booked a last minute trip. They were on site at a different house and even came by while we were grilling dinner and made sure we were okay. The home itself was easy to get to and had a convenient access key lock so that we didn't have to wait to get into our cabin. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely rent from them again.
