Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, air conditioning
This lovely 2-bedroom first floor apartment (70 m²) is situated in the popular La Calma complex in the residential area of Playa Flamenca. La Calma is an attractive, well-maintained complex with landscaped gardens within a secure gated community.

The apartment is tastefully furnished throughout with an open plan living/dining room (with sofa bed), American style kitchen and utility/store. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and built-in wardrobes. The apartment has air conditioning throughout (with heating for winter).
There are many desirable ‘make you feel at home’ features with fibre internet (300mbps), widescreen LG Smart TV (over 140 TV channels; English, Spanish, German & French and 35 radio stations), Blu-ray/DVD player, fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker hob/oven, microwave, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, hairdryer and iron/board.
The apartment’s private balcony is south facing with views of both the sea and one of the four beautiful communal pools and has sun loungers and patio furniture including table, parasol and chairs; great for al fresco eating.
In addition, the apartment also has its own allocated parking space.
La Calma is ideally situated with a variety of sandy beaches, including Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, Cala Cerrada and Playa de La Zenia, within a 15-to-20-minute walk (or 2-minute drive). The sandy beaches in the locality are regularly awarded 'Blue Flag' for water quality and facilities including food and drink, children’s play areas, showers and toilet facilities. There are also a range of water sports for which you can hire equipment. The Aquopolis water park is approximately a 10-minute drive away in Torrevieja.
There are numerous supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants located within a few minutes’ walk including the Playa Flamenca, La Mosca and Citrus commercial centres. Both Lidl and superCOR supermarkets and Rocky’s Arena pub (showing multiple Sky Sports channels) are only a stone’s throw away. The commercial centres offer a wide range of restaurants, bars and entertainment with informal Tapas, Irish, Italian, Tex-Mex, Chinese, Indian, French, American styles and many more. In addition, the La Mosca shopping centre has rooftop mini golf and the ‘Orihuela Costa’ Go-kart track (for adults and children) is within a 5-minute stroll.
The fabulous La Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping mall in the province of Alicante, has more than 150 shops representing local and global brands and is also just 15 minutes’ walk away. The upper floor offers a variety of eateries and cafes.
An extensive Spanish market is held each Saturday in Playa Flamenca offering many bargains. There are also markets held in Cabo Roig (3/4 minutes by car) on Thursdays and Torrevieja on Fridays. The apartment is also near to public transport for travel to Torrevieja, Alicante and resorts in between.
All linen and towels (including beach towels) are provided.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The apartment is managed by my property manager (the key holder) with an office opposite the nearby Playa Flamenca Centre.
The Host Fee included within the rental price covers cleaning and laundry on your departure and also local support, help and advice, including a 24-hour emergency number if assistance is required urgently, during your stay.
Property access instructions. There are two alternatives to access La Calma and the apartment and these are as follows:
a. My property manager provides a free meet and greet service from Monday to Friday for arrivals at the apartment between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00. Outside these times there is a charge, payable to my property manager on arrival, as follows:
(i) Monday to Friday – 25€ fee for arrivals between 17.00 to 24.00 and 50€ from midnight to 09.00;
(ii) Saturday & Sunday – 25€ fee for arrivals between 09.00 to 24.00 and 50€ from midnight till 09.00.
b. Guests can collect keys at any time, free of charge and if booked in advance, directly from a key box at my property managers office. Should guests choose this option full entry instructions and directions to both my property managers office and to La Calma/the apartment will be provided.
The same options above will apply when Guests are vacating the apartment.
Within the rental is a 100kWh allowance for electricity consumption per week and the kWh meter is located in the apartment for guests to monitor usage. This allowance is more than sufficient for normal needs but the limit has been set to avoid unnecessary high usage, for example guests leaving air conditioning on all day whilst leaving main doors open etc. Any usage above the allowance will be charged at 0.45€ per kWh.
My property manager also offers airport transfers from/to Alicante airport and Murcia International airport (Corvera) at a cost of 65€ each way (up to 4 passengers). For collections after 20.00 or before 09.00 there is a 15€ surcharge. These prices are correct at October 2024.
Travel cots & high chairs are available on request at 20€ per week per item and are subject to availability.
Check-in is from 16.00 on day of arrival and checkout by 14.00 on day of departure.
Minimum stay is 11 nights.

Just returned from a fantastic 3 week holiday at La Calma. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and everything is there that you could possibly need. Great plus for us was the Coffee machine. Good location for beaches restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation to recommend the apartment to family and friends.

Could not fault the property. Still as good as it was when we stayed here for 3 weeks in 2022. This time we stayed for 4 weeks. Sylvia the property contact was excellent and prompt with any queries we had. We would definitely stay here again if we are in this area and would highly recommend this property.

Playa Flamenca is a lovely area, we did not need to hire a car, but if you to wanted to explore further afield it would be advisable.

A gated development within level walking distance to the bars and restaurants of both Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima. It is a slightly longer walk to the Saturday market and the La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, but perfectly doable if you don't want to drive. Beaches of La Zenia, Puta Prima and Playa Flamenca are close. The balcony has views of the sea. There is a well stocked Lidl on the doorstep. The apartment has all you need for a well earnt break and the local managing agents are a short walk away and are very helpful if required.

The apartment is in a very good position, a level walk to the close local amenities without being too close. La Zenia Boulevard and Playa Flamenca Saturday market are a 10-15 minute walk away.
The apartment has all the facilities you need for a lovely holiday, both bedrooms are en-suite so would also suit two couples, the main room with kitchen at one end and lounge area at the other is sufficiently spacious. The balcony overlooks one of the smaller pools and has a view of the med. There is an allocated parking space in the gated community. We enjoyed our time so much that we have re-booked for later this year.

The apartment fits the description from the advertise. Rarely encountered stays whose description fits the reality like this apartment. The apartment has good furniture and is equipped with everything one would need in vacancies. Kitchen devices in very good state and a smart tv with Wi-Fi and all necessary things for a beach visit etc.
the check in and out were very smooth and friendly. Very helpful information were provided by the hosting company.
I would recommend this apartment to everybody who wants to spend good vacations with family or friends beyond the noise of the city.

Pas d'accès direct à la plage (1km à pied)
Résidence calme et propre. Plusieurs piscines à disposition. Dimmage quil n'y a pas la plage en face de la location (falaise) mais plusieurs plages sont a 5mn en voiture, plusieurs commerces à proximité, superbe location.

Buenas vacaciones
Todo muy bien, práctico y comodo. El único problema es que el aire acondicionado no enfria y tiene que estar todo el día encendido y parece solo un ventilador y por eso el consumo eléctrico se dispara y tienes que pagar los kw de demás al precio que ellos tienen, al final es como pagar tu consumo electrico por separado aparte del alquiler. La vivienda y el residencial muy bonito y acogedor y tienes todos los servicios cerca. Para playa necesitas coche.

Gracias por tu reseña. Al día siguiente de que terminaras tu estancia, yo estaba en el apartamento de vacaciones en familia. Notamos que el aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones funcionaba pero no a plena capacidad. Inmediatamente me comuniqué con el administrador de mi propiedad. Un ingeniero salió el mismo día, reemplazó una tubería con fugas y regasificó el sistema. Lo siento si sus vacaciones no cumplieron con sus expectativas, pero una simple llamada telefónica al equipo de administración de mi propiedad (brindan apoyo, ayuda y consejos locales, incluido un número de emergencia las 24 horas si se requiere asistencia) habría solucionado el problema del aire acondicionado.
A well-equipped apartment - we had everything we needed. Lots to do nearby, but a car is recommended if you want to do a bit of sightseeing.
Swimming pools were clean and never busy. Several beaches nearby.

All details regarding the property were very accurate. Reka who collected us from the airport was very professional, helpful and showed us into the apartment. Which was very comfortable and in excellent condition. Everything was well thought through. The area is great for walking, eating in the many restaurants and bars. Within walking distance to the lovely beaches. Supermarkets very close. Would definetely consider returning.
This property met all our needs. Plenty of space and well equipped. Great beach at Punta Prima was an easy walk. The apartment had all the supplies we needed for the beach! Grocery stores are easily accessed. We did not have a car and taxi’s were hard to get at premium times. The reason for the four stars was because this was the first VRBO I have stayed in that I had to immediately go to the store and buy paper towels, and toilet paper. There was hardly any soap of any kind. We would go back but next time rent a car and arrive with extra paper and soap.
El alojamiento y urbanización son estupendos. La ubicación sería extraordinaria, si contase con un simple paso de peatones para poder cruzar la carretera y no tener que ir andando hasta el Centro de Policía Local, para poder cruzar la carretera o coger el coche . Una barrera antirruidos en la carretera, tampoco vendría mal. Pero estas son cosas a resolver por la Autoridad Competente....
La zona predomina el turismo foráneo (para lo malo y para lo bueno) esto es, poca oferta mediterránea y mucha más continental , la zona no puede ser menos flamenca y los chiringuitos sosos. Pero en cambio, es más tranquilo y limpio. Ideal para descansar
Todo m ha parecido bien, quizás lo relativo a la luz no lo he entendido muy bien, no he tenido q abonar nada, nos quedamos al límite, pero nosotros no hicimos prácticamente uso de la luz, dos medios días se necesito el aire un par de horas y lo demás fue poco, no cenas, llegando para ir a la cama........, Pero en conjunto muy bien.
