The home was private and beautiful with ocean views from all rooms. After a day of sightseeing it was great to come back and enjoy the pool and hot tub with our family. I would highly recommend this vacation home and we hope to come back again some day.

Anniversary trip

Outstanding property for our family to celebrate an important anniversary. There was plenty of room, a fabulous view, lovely outside space with a pool, and hot tub, and very comfortable beds. Everything was excellent. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful vacation together. The grand kiddos loved swimming in the poo;. The views of the ocean were spectacular. We ate most of the meals at the house and loved the kitchen layout. Great Vacation thank-you!

The home and landscaping absolutely gorgeous! Very well appointed with a plenty of kitchen space, lovely bedrooms and baths, extremely comfortable living and lounging space. Loved the pool, hot tub (even though the jets were not working), waterfall and outdoor gas grill. It was everything we wanted/needed for our visit of 4 couples.

Great view

Great property but ongoing construction next door (jackhammer?) made it less enjoyable than we’d like - 6 days out of the week. There were also ongoing issues with the spa, which was a bummer. Outside of that, pretty nice.

Home was beautiful. Everyone had room to spread out. My granddaughter loved seeing the geckos outdoors & indoors. Kona Coast staff was very helpful when contacted. Home had everything you need. The staff at the security gate were very friendly. Would love to stay at this home again.

Fabulous overview estate

Fabulous property inside and out. 4 spacious mater suites. Huge, well-stocked kitchen. Lovely furnishings throughout. Best feature is the extensive outdoor covered spaces for entertaining, dinning or just lounging, all with wonderful ocean views. We are already planning on coming back next year.

Great property for family vacation

The place is very well equipped. We have everything we needed. The only minor issue is the two bedroom is outside the main house. Would be more convenient if it is together. We have young children and wouldn’t let them go out without adult because of the swimming pool. Will stay here again

Bear Mountain Golf Group

The pool? Ice cold would be understating the temperature. Even after golfing in 28C there was no way to get more than a plunge in and then out. No Wifi in outside bedrooms. The BBQ took a long time to heat up- two nights we finished cooking using stove top. This were the biggest problems. The house itself and location was perfect for our group. Very well organized. Spent a lot of time on the deck. Lots of space.

The property was amazing, the location quite and within a few miles of everything. The ocean view from the master br room was beautiful. The house easily supported 8 adults. There was plenty of space, kitchen utensils, tv,s, etc. If there was anything I would add to this already beautiful property is a powder room in the main part of the house as it would make it more convenient when folks are enjoying each other company but need to run off to their expected to room to use the facilities.

Amazing home and location

This place is absolutely amazing. Location is great, ocean view is lovely from the home. 4 adult couples stayed here and we had a great amount of space. Bedrooms are lovely. All have proper showers not like the one photo. I was nervous about the one with the hand held but it was renovated to a lovely stand up. Only thing is the pool is very cold. It would be nice if they spent money for a solar pool heat system. The hot tub is on a timer so you need to turn it on and it’s only hot during the hours of 4-10 pm. Kitchen is huge and well equipped. Great places and great communication with the concierge David was amazing. He helped us book whale watching and night snorkeling with Mantas. Answered all questions we had before and during our stay.

Paradise

We had an overall amazing stay at this beautiful home. I would stay here again if we ever come back. The only issues we had with the home were minor. We are very easy going and try not to sweat the small things. I would wake up to that beautiful view everyday of my life. It really was a dream home. We loved our welcome gifts and wanted to say thank you for being so thoughtful. 10 out of 10 would recommend this property for anyone looking for a dream trip. I just want to warn you that two of the bed rooms have what we believe were double beds that we strapped together for couples. The two couples that were staying in those rooms had a little trouble with them separating. Other then that the bedroom set ups were great for the three sets of couples that were on the trip. Again, it was a great location.

Renter BEWARE Limited Amenities

Size of home was nice, although I did not care for 2 of the bedrooms being disconnected from the main home. Being inside a gated community was an added bonus, but comes with a quiet time limiting any outdoor enjoyment after the sun goes down. Now I do understand why (to an extent) the pool isn’t heated being in Hawaii, but when the ocean is warmer than the pool I feel there’s an issue, especially at the price point the home is at. The amount of insects in the pool everyday is also disheartening. It’s not that hard to leave the pump run a few hours in the morning or even a few times throughout the day. Then we have the “hot tub” that’s only available 4-10pm and only if you remember to go in the garage to turn it on 90 minutes before you need to use it… then cross your fingers that the jets work on the timer. We had no such luck. I personally like to start or end my day in the hot tub and not have to wait until the middle of the afternoon and only if I remember to go downstairs in the garage and turn the timer on…The amount of insects that came into the home every night was unbelievable. I don’t know if they were fruit flies or not, but there was a ton dead on the counters and floors every morning, and just about anywhere you had a light on after dark. All in all, the home was nice but very disappointing for the price point and the amenities that we thought we were getting with the home. None of these regulations were disclosed in the description.

February Visit

This is a fabulous location and the house fit our needs. We did have a number of issues upon our arrival; pool filthy, broken pool skimmer, broken kitchen cabinets that could not be opened, as well as a garbage cabinet that had closed into a electrical bix with exposed wiring. The detached rooms fire alarms went off in the middle of the night on three separate occasions . All were addressed promptly and most were able to be fixed within a few days. The 3rd party people that came out were friendly and addressed what they could explaining why something could not be fixed. I did question that we only received one call back on the first night to follow up on issues. Poor customer service on that end. We did not let it ruin the stay. This is not a young child friendly or elderly friendly house due to stairs and uneven flooring. There are a few loose tiles throughout the property and of course the many areas kids could get into the pool unsupervised. That said, the house is laid out well for privacy, the kitchen was great as it had all of the cookware and dishes on hand. We found a large amount of leftover spices, bowls etc. Eating outside each night and ending a day exploring with a private pool was grand. Our group all agrees that the location, privacy and pool made up for the house being well lived in. The decor and surrounding landscaping are stunning. We would stay here again.

Gorgeous sprawling home south of Kona

We stayed for a week at this beautiful home in Keauhou. The house is big with four separate suites and lots of sitting areas on lanais (there seemed to be as much outdoor space as inside!). The kitchen is really big so lots of room for cooking - could use some more essentials (cooking implements, bakeware) for such a large home. The dishwasher needs to be serviced or consider replacing. Be advised that the oven takes a looooong time to preheat. We were warned by other reviewers that the pool was COLD and they were not wrong. Only my determined 12-year old braved the pool. What was annoying was that the hot tub heater is on a timer to only function from 4-8 PM and it takes a couple of hours to actually heat up, so the usability of the hot tub is extremely limited. This was a disappointment to us. Other than those issues, the house is lovely and the layout made for a very pleasant stay for our party of three adults and two teens.
