Disappointing

Very shocked at position of our accommodation. Unit is at front gate next to gaurd room. Continuous noise all night. Hooting at the gate early hours of the morning. Other tourist arriving at our door with queries, thinking it was reception /office staff area. Does not look like other units in complex. We were told to collect the keys at the gate on arrival. The guard was not informed of our arrival and was not very interested at all. When we approached our host, we were offered a larger unit costing more money and basically told we were very fussy and complainers and maybe should go to a hotel. We have holidayed in Mauritius many times over the years in different types of accommodation. This was definitely the worst value for money.

I was expecting such a comment from a person like you ! You were complaining about everything. You booked the very first price house (2 bedroom townhouse) and expecting the same standard as our classical 4 bedrooms villas. The unit you booked is exactly like the pictures and fully operating. All others guests are happy with the value for money. May i add that you refuse my offer to stay in a bigger villa…because it was too big and too expensive for you. On top of that you have been very rude and not polite. If you have been polite and well educated i would have offered it for free ! Next time go to a 5 star hotel if you can afford it ! Frederic

Perfect location at unbeatable price

Excellent stay in this newly refurb small villa. The complex is very nice, house is very clean and quiet. You can spend holidays without a car which is great :) The host is perfect, very friendly, helpful and respond very quickly. thanks for everything
