Town: Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.

Too many stairs for us
There was no indication to say toilet on the ground floor whilst the lounge was on the first floor. This was not ideal for us being elderly. Cracked tiles in the bathroom. No signage to the apartment. Car parking was some way away. Ideal for younger people. I will be concerned about booking through you in the future if you are not describing your properties fully to help us choose in the future. Surely it would not be difficult to warn about stairs. And certainly to add to the existing signage to say where number 44 is located.

Great location
Nice apartment in a great location with parking made for a great holiday. View towards the marina/harbour is lovely. Apartment is nice , though starting to show some signs of wear and tear - worktop, wooden flooring, carpets. But nothing to distract from an enjoyable stay.
