Mosteirinho - 25 acres of peaceful and pure nature to relax with privacy.
Here time doesn t fly, it floats by in the silence and breeze of the mountains and surrounding hamlets.
Prepare to be amazed by the mantle of stars bestowed on you at night, with shootings stars challenging you to come up with enough wishes.
This rural retreat is ideal for solo travellers, couples and families with kids.
It is located in the District of Bragança, in Northern Portugal, a short drive from the Spanish border.
A Fraga - This newly renovated 2 bedroom house can easily accomodate two couples with kids because extra beds can be added if requested.
The kitchen has all the basic utensils.
In Mosteirinho there is a Kids play area, barbacue room, water spring, vegetable patch, vinyard and fruit trees, help yourself.
Bicycles, washing machine and iron board available.
Note: 800m road without tarmac; Although the road has been greatly improves there is the possibility of some mud in winter and dust in summer.

I was born in this area (Mos de Celas) and despite living abroad most of my life, I have come back to my roots. These peacefull green mountains and valleys are my home.

La nuit, aucune lumière, ce qui permet d'admirer le ciel étoilé. Nous avons pu boire à l'eau de la source. Admirer les petites grenouilles dans le plan d'eau. Nous relaxer dans le hamac. Prendre de superbes photos du coucher de soleil."

O espaço é espectacular e a zona tem mesmo muita coisa para aproveitar - o Azibo, o lago de Sanabria, Miranda do Douro e as redondezas do Mosteirinho (a cascata, o moínho, ...)"

What makes this property unique
It is a small corner of Portugal that still remains true to it's origins, a window into the past.
No pesticides or artificial fertilisers are used within the 10 hectars; Although there is running water supplied by the Municipality, we collect drinking water from the natural spring and fruit from the trees and bushes (berries) free from chemicals.
The vegetable patch is also cultivated using traditional and organic methods and so is the vinyard.
At night we listen to the crickets and owls and watch the stars while enjoying a beer or a glass of wine. Priceless!
