Outstanding views combined with absolute privacy makes Villa Pelagos the ultimate choice for your holiday. Located in the historic village of Gastouri a film location for the popular TV series The Durrell’s.
This much-loved family home is now on the market for holiday rental.
Set behind electric gates in 2.5 acres of natural landscape with expansive grounds full of native trees, flowering shrubs and manicured lawns.
The entrance hall takes you into a spacious living room with a bay window overlooking the garden and a modern kitchen/dining area that look out over the large swimming pool and stunning sea views. There is one twin bedroom with an adjacent shower room also on this floor along with a utility room.
The 1st floor has a master double bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom that is adjacent to a family size bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms access the wide balcony that overlooks the swimming pool, Ionian Sea, views of the Greek mainland and towards Albania. Should a 2nd double bedroom be required one of the twin bedrooms can be made up as a double.
The wide terrace wraps around three sides of the villa allowing for two separate outdoor dining areas or one large space for larger groups, a third dining area is set in the garden itself and has views over the Ionian Sea and along the south-east coast of Corfu. All of our bathrooms have been renovated for the summer season of 2022.
The large infinity swimming pool, newly tiled for this summer, is positioned for the best sea views of all. A stone sunbathing area offers space for sun loungers and umbrellas and the lawn or under a shaded tree is also an excellent option for where to spend lazy pool days.
Overall this property is all about outdoor living with a large built-in barbecue and spacious areas for al fresco dining, garden paths for exploring the property with remote controlled gates and garage plus ample parking onsite.
A cot and highchair can be provided on request free of charge.
All bedrooms are air-conditioned and WIFI is available throughout the main villa only.
Villa Pelagos is also listed separately on VRBO (HAUK 10446554) as Villa Pelagos and Guest House with 4 bedrooms for up to 8 guests.
Please note that if only the main villa is booked (up to 6 people) the guest house will remain closed.

Villa Pelagos - September 2023

The villa was wonderful. Very modern and in wonderful condition. Pool was perfect and as with every other review....view was amazing. Sue took great care of us and responded quickly to every question we raised and Diane came in twice a week to make sure the place was clean and tidy. They were a great team. The villa is slightly off the beaten track so you really need a car but then I sense there are few places to stay on the island where you don't need a car. We found some wonderful beaches at Agios Gordios and Agios Pelakas just 25 minutes in the car. Eating out was easy and great quality. I would recommend Salto in Corfu Town if you want something really special.

Fantastic place with amazing views

Wonderful villa in a fabulous location, the views were amazing and great for plane and boat spotting whilst lazing by the pool. Very private and quiet too. We were very well looked after by Sue before and throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend.

This is a unique property in a wonderful location where villas are sought after but not abundant. Gastouri is also my village and I am only too aware of the pleasures that await you and what the area and villa can offer.
