About this property
Luxury 5* cottage and plenty of fun for all...
Redyeates Farm is the perfect place for family holidays or couples that want to get away from it all in a luxurious, peaceful setting with a great variety of things to do either at the farm or on days out. Previously the Devon Wine School, Redyeates Farm has total peace and quiet based around a 17th century farmhouse with no near neighbours and lots of rolling Devon country-side. We have superb 5 star accommodation with something for everyone and fine countryside views on your doorstep. If you want to play tennis on our all-weather court, play football with the kids or read the papers while the children roam the 3 acres of gardens, playing on the climbing frame and swings, jumping on our spring free trampoline, playing basketball or simply playing table tennis, we have a lot to do for all.

About the host
Hosted by Redyeates Farm and Country Cottages
Having spent a lot of time working in corporate life we decided that having had so many fantastic holidays in Devon, it was time to 'live the dream' and stop talking about it. So that's basically it in a nutshell. Having opened Redyeates Farm as luxury holiday cottages (it used to be the Devon Wine School) we are now completely focused on ensuring that all of our customers and their children have a great time here.
During school holiday times we focus on family holidays and outside of these times we focus a little more on adult getaways and romantic weekends.
If you want to know anything more about our holiday cottages, our facilities or the local area, please do not hesitate to call me and discuss your requirements. Best Regards, Gary

Why they chose this property
When we first saw Redyeates Farm we immediately fell in love with it. It is so peaceful here that we often joke with the children .... "listen to that!" They always say they cant hear anything at all - and that's exactly the point.
With the beautiful views of the rolling Devon countryside and the total peace and quiet you can also be in the cathedral city of Exeter in 25 minutes or at other local pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes or so. The nearest pub with excellent food is just down the road, minutes from us. We are surrounded by all the tourist attractions people would want and the M5 motorway is about 15 minutes away at Tiverton so along with the countryside feel, we really aren't very far from all of the shops, restaurants and attractions and our village has a fantastic pub with superb food - what more could you possibly want.

What makes this property unique
We don't have any light pollution here. On a clear night the stars are absolutely remarkable and something that children tend to love to see. Also at the right times, we often see the space station or satellites pass overhead. All you astronomers - don't forget to bring your telescope!
