Back yard redefined to perfection. Quiet leafy neighborhood in charming Old Town, you will be within walking distance just blocks to downtown Grand Haven highlights and attractions; library, Central Park (with live music every Tuesday), downtown shopping district with dining, museums and galleries and Grand Haven's "World's Largest Musical Fountain." Farmers Market, Wednesday and Saturday. The scenic Grand River channel and boardwalk leading out to the Grand Haven State Park and Lake Michigan beach and picturesque light house pier just a stroll away.

2 loft style bedrooms upstairs one on each side of stairs, and both have a privacy curtain, queen with twin beds in each, the back bedroom has a flat screen TV.
The living room is cozy and stylish with a queen sleeper sofa, and can convert it to a master suite with French doors and summer curtain (this is where I would sleep) lay back and watch flat screen TV or listen to Pandora.
The main bathroom is off the living room, custom tiled bathroom with whirlpool tub, walk in fully tiled shower and flat screen TV to watch from anywhere or listen to Pandora, stacked washer/dryer.
1/2 bath near kitchen. Dining room has table to seat 6, sitting area by a window up front. Kitchen island bar height, seats 4, plus plenty of room to hang, TV with sound bar.
Kitchen has Stainless steel appliances, refrigerator, electric stove and dish washer, fully stocked for your convenience, also provided Keurig carafe and single cup coffee maker with coffee and cocoa Pods, blender, microwave, toaster, spices, dishes, glassware, flatware, cooking and grilling utensils, paper and plastic ware, & paper towel.
The kitchen has a slider that opens to an extended one level grey cement patio to sit and have coffee, lunch and dinner, grill out with a 4 burner Weber grill and 6' table with seating. Beautifully landscaped back yard with a cement artsy patio in back having a gas fire table, comfortable cushioned seating and bar with stools.
Shade sail on both patios, just pick your zone for dining and entertainment. Two car driveway parking and legal over night street parking. BACKYARD TOTALLY FENCED IN FOR PETS AND CHILDREN.

Carrie thinks of everything. This place is so lovely for a smaller group—the AC kept us cool on hot days and downtown, the harbor, the bakery, Central Park, are all within walking distance. The back yard is so pretty and restful—we ate most of our meals out there, and our little dog loved it.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

This was a wonderful place to stay! The entire place was so clean and everything was in place to make you feel right at home! It was just a short walk to downtown Grand Haven and easy to access main roads to visit other towns. Highly recommend!

Relaxing and fun getaway

We loved staying at the Terra Cotta Pearl! Our stay included myself, my husband, 2 children and our dog. The space was clean and inviting and the beds were comfortable, which is a big plus in my book! We never lacked for any amenities, finding everything we needed to feel at home. The location was superb - close to all the downtown shops and restaurants. We hope to visit again soon!

Love it Here!

We can't say enough good things about this house and our stay in Grand Haven. The location is located within walking distance of downtown and an easy drive to the beach. We love the updates to the kitchen and enjoy spending time in the backyard. Our six year old daughter and dog love it here as well. This was our third time staying at Carrie's and fourth time in Grand Haven - we love it so much, we plan to return again next summer.

Great house in a great location!

This house has been renovated from top to bottom and is very clean, which made us feel right at home. In all of my trips, I've never rented a house as well-stocked as this one. We also appreciated the helpful labels on lights and such. The backyard was so pretty and so relaxing. I only wish we had more time to enjoy it!

Perfect place!

Carrie’s place was absolutely perfect! She has the house fully stocked and clean! It was the perfect little oasis for relaxing! Our labradoodle loved the yard and his freedom walking around in the space! So close to downtown- just a few minutes to walk! We’ve already booked for next year and looking forward to it!

The property is in a great location to enjoy the highlights of Grand Haven. Beautiful updated kitchen with all needed supplies. Would have preferred a coffee pot rather than Keurig only, but it was sufficient. Lots of sleeping space! Both bathrooms on level one, making it a little longer trip at night. Beautiful outdoor space for gatherings. Overall, a great place to stay while visiting the area.

House was centrally located made getting to an from beach an attraction easy. Clean and the owner Carrie thought off everything you could possibly need during your stay. From Linens, appliances to backyard was high quality an beautiful. Carrie went above and beyond to answering our questions and to shipping back plush toys my granddaughter left.

I grew up in Grand Haven 4 blocks from Terra Cotta Pearl, moved to Florida and Chicago then came home to Grand Haven to start my business Chadko, LLC in 2000. I purchased the house in 2007 and started renovating, each year it got better and better, a great improvement for the neighborhood. People walking and driving by compliment me every day. I love my house and want to share it for the Summers so more people can enjoy it. I will be living with my mother a short distance away and I can walk to my shop from there. You will see in my house what we make at Chadko, enclosure kits and shelving liners for wire shelves.

I purchased this house because I love being so close to the downtown area, I can walk to everything. Also I am an artist and the house was fun to make it what it is today, very comfortable and Feng shui

I love to live in the back yard, I have my tranquil privacy or can sit on the back table and people watch, have pit fires and enjoy the breeze, people watch.
