Break away

Chalet was clean and comfortable but did smell a bit fusty. I don't think this accommodation is suited for 4 adults due to the seating in the lounge. We chose this accommodation due to it being really quiet as it was a much needed break for my husband .

Great little chalet

Great little chalet. Beautifully clean. Well equipped, especially the kitchen, which looked very new. Lovely quiet location but within walking distance of supermarket and more importantly the beach. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon.

Great chalet

We had a lovely stay in this chalet in Mundesley. The location was ideal to go to the beach, visiting Cromer and National Trust locations. The property was clean, well stocked and very quiet. Having the local Tesco around the corner was also very handy. Would definitely book again.

Needs new lounge furniture was feeling very soft and could not raise from the settee, when some older people have issues with mobility.

Absolutley lovely, the Chalet was everything you,d ask for.

Stunning Chalet and location, absolutley everything there that you need and spotless, If anybody wants to visit Nort Norfolk this is the place to book, it is,nt large but ok for what we needed , myself and wife and our dog Gertie.Theres area,s on the beach your dogs can be let off the lead with miles of great sandy beach for them.Unfortunatley i had a fall on my first day there, a complete accident so we returned home after one night, but will be booking again as soon as well enough.

Holiday stay

The living rooms seating was disappointing and not comfortable and was such that us was v difficult to get comfortable. The twin bedrooms cupboard smelled very musty but the rest of chalet was good.

Quiet and peaceful and so friendly

Our 2nd stay here because it is so quiet, peaceful and such a friendly place to stay. The chalet is very well equipped and the park is quiet and 10 minute walk from the beach. We did find the double bed a bit hard for us but the singles very comfy so we pushed them together and slept very well. The sofa is a bit squashy and a bit old but still comfy. We took a throw for our dog in case he jumped on it so maybe a suggestion that people with dogs do the same would keep it cleaner. Mundesley is a gorgeous beach and a great beach to find fossils. Cafe by the beach does a gorgeous breakfast. Will definitely be returning next year for a weeks R and R. Booking with Keys was easy and they were very responsive and sent lots of local information as well. Would wholly recommend chalet and Keys!

Relaxing and quiet

Booked very last minute, primary requirements were close to the beach and easy access shower. Chalet is on a site which is excellently maintained, chalet itself was well maintained, clean and provided everything needed (including windbreak for the beach, umbrella for sitting in the sun) Dark skies at night (just what I love) and incredibly quiet - slept through the night, I didn't even hear the torrential rain on the Thursday night. There are no services on site, but the site is a 10 minute walk to the village centre, where there is a butcher, baker and grocers, pharmacy and other local services. There is a Tesco Express one minute walk away, next to the petrol station. Although the beach is 700 m walk away, to reach the beach you need to negotiate the steep stairs down the side of the cliff. I would recommend walking the 10 minutes into the village centre for easier access, however it's worth the climb down and you can walk along the beach towards the village centre and come back that way. I also walked towards Trimmingham, and went on the beach there. There didn't seem to be too much in the way of evening dining, during the day, plenty of choise for fish n chips, etc otherwise a couple of hotels really was all I could find - but I didn't look that hard. We drank at The Star Inn one early evening, but didn't eat there. We did have one takeaway, I would recommend the New Sage chinese takeaway. For walking, the lanes were fairly quiet, and the pavements around the village well maintained. There were plenty of short cuts, if you want to explore the village. Overall, a thoroughly relaxing stay and the weather was wonderful.

We were not too impressed with this accommodation. It was moderately clean, but we still found cobwebs and the extra blankets for cold evenings smelled heavily of dog. It was very small for 2 adults and 2 small children, with a fold-out dinner table and sparse room to walk around the beds. There was no wifi and no way to do laundry. The latter is not convenient when one embarks on a beach themed vacation with small children. The massive binder with information curiously failed to provide things one actually needs, such as a place in town to do laundry. The TV also failed regularly, after which all channels had to be restored again. When we contacted the agency to ask about fresh bedding, the reply was rude and simply stated none was available. The enormous number of emails leading up to our stay was a bit much.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review following your stay at 35 Siesta Mar. We are genuinely sorry to hear that the chalet did not meet the standard or comfort you were hoping for during your family holiday. We appreciate you noting that the property was moderately clean, though it is disappointing to learn about the cobwebs and the condition of the extra blankets. This is not the level of presentation we aim to provide, and your comments have been passed to the housekeeping team so this can be addressed immediately. We understand how important space and practicality are when travelling with young children. While 35 Siesta Mar is one of our more compact chalets, we recognise that the layout and limited storage may not suit every family, and we are sorry it felt cramped for you during your stay. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the lack of Wi‑Fi and laundry facilities. These amenities are not listed in the description for the chalet, but we completely understand how valuable they are for families on a beach holiday. Your point about the information folder is well taken — we will ensure that local laundrette details are added so future guests have this to hand. We are sorry to hear you experienced issues with the TV and that our response regarding fresh bedding came across as unhelpful. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We will be reviewing this with the team to ensure our communication remains friendly, supportive, and solution‑focused. Finally, thank you for mentioning the number of emails received before arrival. These are intended to help guests feel prepared, but we appreciate that it may have felt excessive, and we will look at refining this process. Your comments are genuinely valuable to us, and we are grateful you took the time to share them. We hope you were still able to enjoy some time exploring the area, and we would love the opportunity to welcome you back to a property better suited to your family needs in the future. Warm regards, Keys Holiday Cottages

Quiet place by the sea

This is a great place to stay for those who like a nice quiet spot, very close to the sea and within a short drive to the main hub of attractions. The property itself is scrupulously clean, is very comfortable and is well equipped. The site where the property is located is quiet and peaceful, but within walking distance of shops, amenities and the sea front. Also, in the event of any problems or queries (as did happen once), it's reassuring to know that someone is always available on the telephone to give help. All in all, excellent.

Super little chalet -perfect for a quiet getaway!

We booked this fairly last minute as wanted just to relax after a very stressful year. We certainly did that! The chalet was extremely well equipped...better than we expected and beds were super comfy. The location is lovely and peaceful...no light or noise pollution. The position of the chalet meant that we had sun to sit in all day not that we did that much as Mundesley beach is wonderful for long walks and photographs of big skies! If you want a quiet base to enjoy North Norfolk would wholly recommend.

A very enjoyable holiday

This was our third visit to Siesta Mar and we have already booked another stay for this year. It is a quiet well-maintained site and number 35 is ideal. Our daughter recommended it and she has also booked a stay in the school summer holiday.

Excellent holiday accommodation

Lovely holiday in a very comfortable, modern chalet set in quiet surroundings. We had quick, efficient service when we had a minor problem with the television.
