The Oasis is our bright, clean and airy three bedroom, two bathroom condo located in the Ocean Walk Condominium Village, one of St. Simons Island's nicest and most popular condo complexes. It is perfectly located to enjoy the best this beautiful island has to offer!

Our completely-remodeled vacation home provides an opportunity to enjoy a variety of experiences while providing our guests with two queen beds, two twin beds, and a sleeper sofa (sleeps 2), with linens and towels. Its open and comfortable living space has bright tile floors throughout, with a large sliding glass door leading to a cozy and relaxing covered balcony with cushioned chairs, table, and a couch. The living room is beautifully and comfortably furnished and includes a new queen-sized sofa/sleeper along with a 4K UHD Smart TV and a Blu-ray DVD player. High speed Wi-Fi internet access is also included. The kitchen is fully-stocked, with all appliances, dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils provided, as well as a private laundry room.

Ocean Walk offers two immaculately-maintained pools, a large pond, tennis courts, and a clubhouse with meeting and health club facilities. There are over 40 access points to beautiful East Beach; the access at Neptune Park down by the SSI Pier is a half a mile away (15-20 minute walk), and the most popular access point is at the SSI Coast Guard Station, just 1.4 miles from the condo. A ten minute walk or 5 minute bike ride will bring you into the heart of Pier Village (“downtown” St. Simons), where you will find many wonderful restaurants, unique shops, the town pier, and the famous St. Simons Lighthouse (which is open to the public). Red Fern Village is another very popular place on SSI also offering a number of boutiques and fine restaurants and is located only 2 miles from the Oasis. Also highly recommended is a visit to neighboring Jekyll Island to the south (25 minutes by car), a beautiful state park with a fascinating history.

Very convenient condo

First time on St Simon. Excellent location, well stocked, clean, comfortable, nice patio. If you’re planning a weekend or a month this one is the best.

Great location!

The condo was as advertised and everything was in order. The location was great! It was an easy walk to the beach, pier, and many restaurants. We also enjoyed the amenities in the complex including the tennis courts.

Hosted by Emilie and John Gifford

Emilie and John currently live in southwestern New York, locating there because of John’s position with a forestry and natural resources consulting firm. We moved there in 1984 and have since raised three great (adult) children; Chelsea, Regan and Gus. Emilie works with John at the consulting firm, and is also a CASA volunteer when she is not managing the arrangements at the condo unit.

Friends of ours told us about St Simons Island and the general area, and after taking them up on an invitation to visit them and check it out, we knew it would not only be an exciting place to visit, but also a great place to purchase a unit in a very beautiful condominium complex.

We are excited about offering a first class, comfortable accommodation in a vacation paradise that would satisfy the person on-the-go as well as those who just want to relax in the sun. It is our pleasure to help make your vacation a very memorable one at our Ocean Walk Oasis!

Why they chose this property

St. Simons Island is the signature island of the "Golden Isles" - and they are "golden" for sure! The Marshes of Glynn are breath-taking, the Spanish Moss hanging from the Island's majestic southern live oak trees is enchanting, and the beaches are some of the best in the southeast!

The Island is very pedestrian-friendly, with dozens of excellent restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance of the condo. There is something to do for everyone, from outdoor activities including fishing, boating, swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and surfing, to pulling up a comfortable chair, grabbing a good book, and enjoying your favorite adult beverage. History buffs will enjoy learning about the Island's past, being home to the ancient Mocama Tribe, as well as the Franciscans and Jesuits. There is also a wonderful museum at the St. Simons Island Lighthouse, and a great fishing pier that is fun to stroll down - particularly at night - to watch locals and visitors alike try their hand at some fishing.

What makes this property unique

The Oasis is perfectly situated to take full advantage of all that beautiful St. Simons Island has to offer. The spacious and open one-floor flat has all the comforts of home, and a host of amenities both inside and within the Ocean Walk community. The well-kept grounds include two very lovely and clean pools, a tennis court, and a small lake that provides a home for ducks and fish as well (fishing is allowed!) It is a perfect place to relax and forget the stresses of the world for awhile! The people are friendly, the beach is nearby, and the town has some wonderful restaurants and shops to enjoy year-'round!
