Welcome to "Cozy Oaks Cabin" in scenic Idyllwild-Pine Cove California! Originally built in 1942 as a hunting cabin, it sits high on a ridge (6340 feet elevation) in the San Jacinto Mountains. Nestled amongst majestic old oaks, towering pines, and distinctive manzanita the cabin is light and bright with morning and afternoon sunlight, evening sunsets, and amazing star-filled nights. Just a 5 minute scenic drive to the Village of Idyllwild, it is conveniently located off a paved, county maintained road, with a circular driveway. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful escape for two, come relax and unwind at Cozy Oaks Cabin.

Inside, the cabin is quaint and cozy. It has modern amenities for your convenience, while preserving the rustic and vintage charm. This includes the original front door, knotty pine walls, log beams, as well as restored wood floors. It has quality furnishings, including antiques and vintage decor, with many lighting options inside and out.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a coffee bar with a coffee maker, grinder, and single serve K-Cup brewer. Starbucks coffee beans and K-Cups are provided. Dishes, pots, pans, spices, and other useful items are provided, along with a dishwasher, microwave, stove, and washer/dryer.

The living room is open and a great place to sit back and relax while watching the 50 inch HDTV with surround sound. There is a premium cable package, Netflix, and a DVD player for your entertainment options. Wi-fi and high speed internet are also provided. Curl up on the comfortable leather couch and enjoy the wood burning stove during the colder months.

The bedroom is cozy with a comfortable queen size bed that has a new premium mattress, memory foam topper, and 650 thread count cotton sheets. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo with a granite topped vanity. A recirc pump provides instant hot water in the sink and shower. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a blow dryer are provided.

Outside there is a large front deck, side patio, and gas grill, on a spacious lot with several seating areas to enjoy the peaceful setting. Perfect for your morning coffee or enjoying a nice glass of wine. Relax on the hammock for two while watching a variety of birds, bushy tailed gray squirrels, and listening to the whispering breezes through the towering trees.

Be sure to take a short walk to Pine Cove Park for spectacular giant boulders and distant valley views, including Diamond Valley Lake. Bring the chairs provided to relax and enjoy the amazing sunsets. For those who enjoy hiking, head up the road from the cabin to the top of the ridge for awesome views of Lily Rock, dense forest, and distant views of Mt Palomar and beyond. Continue on and make a loop back to the cabin through the beautiful forest. If you hike at any of the marked trail head areas, the Adventure Pass is provided for free parking.
