Parker Place has recently been renovated and extended and has a comfortable homely feel and with 5 bedrooms is ideal for up to 2 or 3 families or a smaller party if your prefer to have your "own space" to relax in. It is also popular with the fishing groups who like to return to a comfortable well equipped house after a hard days fishing, filleting their catch at the fish cleaning facility then retiring to the entertainment area to brag about the days catch. It sleeps up to 13 people in 9 beds. The living area is spacious with Smart & Satellite TV, and free wifi. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, microwave, 2 large fridges and a freezer, pod coffee machine, and full range of cooking and eating utensils. A large separate pantry for storing your food and supplies. There is a BBQ on the large covered deck with outdoor furniture, bar, drink fridge. An ideal entertainment area for family and friends. A 2 vehicle carport provides protection for your cars & allows convenient unloading/loading should it rain. Laundry is adjacent to carport and has auto washing machine, freezer, shower, toilet and storage for your gear.
Bedrooms: No.1 has queen bed; No.2 has queen bed; No.3 has a queen bed; No.4 has a Queen bed and set of bunks; No.5 has 3 Single beds. Bathrooms: Bathroom with toilet and separate toilet and 2nd shower & toilet in laundry area. Power is supplied by state of art solar system with generator backup. Guests are requested not to bring any appliances with heating elements such as hair dryers. Property is located in the quiet 2nd Valley and easy walking distance to Fraser Island Retreat with shop, bistro, bar and fuel. 200 metres to Ocean Beach.
Please note that Fraser Island is a remote location and there is no labour available for cleaning so we can only operate on a "self-clean basis". You are required to leave the property in the same condition as you found it. Unfortunately there is no commercial laundry on Fraser Island, so you must bring your own linen: top & bottom sheets, pillow case & towel (No Sleeping Bags allowed). Linen may be hired from the local Fraser Island Retreat but must be arranged in advance with the Retreat. We supply pillows, blankets & tea towels. We require a security deposit which may be used to cover any additional cleaning costs or costs associated with non compliance with our linen requirements.

The house was amazing it most definitely exceeded my expectations We were very happy an would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay whilst at Fraser
Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of fridge and freezer space. Large spacious rooms. Bathrooms were lovely. Nice surrounds, very small view of the ocean, but walking distance. We loved our holiday. There was 10 of us plus a 5mth old baby.
The house was set up really well for a family, with the kitchen stocked well with heaps of utensils, platters and extras. The managers and owners were lovely and very easy to deal with right from the beginning.
The whole family 8 adults and 2 children throughly enjoyed our stay. Great location , very spacious well set up extremely comfortable. We will be making this into a regular family holiday with the 3 generations.Thank you Scott and Anne for sharing such an awesome place for our family holiday.
Our second time staying at Parkers place. House is in a great location. Has everything you need. Hosts were amazing. We had an amazing few days. Will definitely be back.
We had a great time at the property. Bathrooms were recently renovated, good size bedrooms, large back deck. Loved the little touches of WiFi, Netflix, basic kitchen supplies (eg glad wrap). A fabulous location! We will be back!

Hi Shayne,
The Queensland Ambulance Service provide a very valuable service to the Island Community and visitors and we are very fortunate to have them there. Unfortunately their Solar system failed and they had to bring in a portable generator. The noise was an inconvenience our Community had to accept. The Government has now resolved the problem.
Great location, affordable for 3 families, close to Eli Creek so we could still get there due to all tides.
Starlink made life easy uploading photos and videos and a few that had to work.
Parker Place was perfect for our large family group. Plenty of room to relax before and after our daily sightseeing excursions. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. Located on a quiet street away from the through traffic. We would definitely come again.

We stayed at Parker Place last year and then came back for a return visit - I think THAT say it all :o) The house is conveniently situaded, clean & tidy and well looked after and the owners are easy going. A+
We really enjoyed our stay at Parker place. This house was very functional and comfortable for our family and the family that we travelled with. The kitchen was fully equipped and even had some basic supplies like glad wrap, foil etc. We did discover a coffee pod machine too.
Kevin was very friendly and greeted us on our first day.
We stayed for a week in Parker Place, easy access for vehicles and house was comfortable. Great kitchen with lots of items. Large outside deck. A bit disappointed with the deck on top as a large palm tree blocked the view to the ocean.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parker Place in Happy Valley, Fraser Is. The house was clean and comfortable for all the 8 family members - even had a very homely feel. We were pleasantly surprised at the little extra touches that were provided (eg dish washing detergent, tissues, etc.). We’ve stayed at other homes on Fraser and these items were not included. Thank-you so much to the property owners for helping make our annual Fraser holiday amazing. We’d definitely stay at Parker Place again.
An overall easy and no fuss experience, the house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our week! Thank you to the owners for renting to us for the week!

Anne Bell and her husband Scott have had a long association with Fraser Island having honeymooned there and then camped with family for many years before buying the property. The house was always known as "Parkers Place" after the previous owner so we decided to keep the tradition going. Anne has equipped the house with all the features a family requires to have an enjoyable holiday. The house has recently been renovated, extended and upgraded. Anne has 4 houses that she manages under the "Annabell's Fraser Island Accommodation" banner in Happy Valley.

Happy Valley is centrally located on the Island and a great base from which to explore the Island. The 2nd Valley offers a quiet location where you can kick back and relax. The large carport and undercover areas allow you to enjoy your holiday when there are the rare unfavourable weather events.
