Food and drinks within walking distance, casino ballroom 4 streets down August 25 foreigner is playing, September and October you like to see the changing colors of the trees stay near the ocean for a bonus,fun,fun fun. Parking for 1 car on site come and stay for Halloween on the beach

Great place close to the beach

Kim and Mark were great just,they went above and beyond! It simple ,cozy and right next to the beach! It was like hanging out with family. I think we have made some friends and look forward to seeing them again.

There was no parking. They covered one spot more than a half mile away. It was unclear prior to getting there. They told me, "First come, first served". The windows are in rough shape, some with no screens. There was a dirty plate in the microwave. I have to say that the owners were very nice. He helped me unload my car and took me to the parking lot. I, also, want to say that the location is spectacular.

The cottage was run down, infested with ants, and wasn't cleaned before we got there. The coffee pot and toaster were broken, but the hosts did provide new ones. It was not worth the money we paid to stay and ended up leaving two days early.

These cottages were just updated.Hampton had a bad flood in January & we had 5 feet of water back there. Upset we couldn't park 2 pick up trucks upon check in despite stating we have parking for 1 car. 1st night, next morning asked how they slept "too noisy". Thinking 1st time here as it was quiet both bars had no outside entertainment. Then she told me about broken toaster, I asked if I put basket in coffee pot...unsure was answer. Saturday morning sat in traffic to provide what was broken and threw in the coffee pot just because it she could not answer. We have been renting since June.....not one complaint of ants. She never told me always have traps if needed(kids will be kids) The people who checked in after....no complaints of ants. I will personally vouch for the cleanliness as my husband & I do it together. She left 2 days early without communicating, wasted my electricity leaving TV on & cottage wide open all day.......I saw her put cooler in car in am asked if she was leaving beach for the day.....so never noticed all stuff gone. Since when does blasting someone here do anything better than face to face communication. The expectations she had were not met by our beach cottages......this did not give her the right to use sand where young kids place as her personal ashtray or while talking with my hubby flick to butt's in driveway....his pet peeve( I smoke) I do not recommend renting unless you like daily complaints and I would have liked to do something, but her husband left Sunday, her and kids monday

Great for teenagers not us old folks

We did not stay as cottage was not appropriate for old retirees like us. Tiny bathroom tiny tv mounted on top of refrigerator. Smoke alarm needed battery it kept beeping. Bedrooms so tiny there was no room for our suitcases. Great location and okay if you were spending all your time at the beach. Because of the time of year Beach was not an option for us

Amazing

The location was perfect. You’re literally across the street from the beach. You are less than 20 to 30 feet from the strip of all entertainment. Mr. Mark and Mrs. Kim were amazing, it didn’t matter what time of the night it was ,they were there to accommodate you. The cottage was, small but so cozy and perfect that I wouldn’t have traded it for something else. The only thing is, I would definitely suggest putting a fan in the room, closing the bedroom door for the day that way the room will be so much cooler at night. It does get hot because there’s no AC but it is so worth it, big yard with sand, you have a porch for barbecuing, nearby all the entertainment. I read the other two reviews and they scared me. I’m so glad that I still took it because the other two reviews, I don’t know what they were talking about. For me, it was absolutely perfect and we are definitely going to come back every year, literally this is our new home away from home. I fell in love with this place and the owners. Thank you so much Mr. Mark and Mrs Kim. It was an amazing, amazing week.

Great Location, needs updating, basic maintenance, and a super cleaning.

Location was awesome, very close to the beach, and boardwalk. The Parking was great even for larger vehicles. The deck was great, we spent much of our time there when we had to be in the unit. We new upfront this was your typical outdated beach house and we were not expecting the Ritz, we thought we knew what to expect, however, it was just plain dirty, actually unsanitary. We spent the first couple hours of our vacation trying to clean it up enough to a point where we thought we could stick it out, and they did provide plenty of cleaners, although we did end up leaving a day early. Lots of unfinished or warn services, so much so it was difficult to clean. We found things that just didn't work as they should, Sink drain, Faucet and sprayer, shower curtain, bathroom door, etc. I won't get into the details of the bathroom, but it wasn't pretty and I'll say the bathroom sink was unusable. We didn't use any of the provided dishware, pots, pans, appliances etc. My son actually found an empty toilet paper roll in silverware drawer, and solo cup with cigarette butts and trash in the bucket of plastic plates left on the refrigerator. We covered the couch and chair with our own sheets, and put the remote control in a plastic zip lock bag and made due. That's basically how we got through it, we made due. Ended up spending way more money as we ate out for every meal, we just couldn't stomach cooking and eating in the unit. If this wasn't steps away from the beach, we would not have attempted to stick it out.
