Home Away From Home for Fishermen

A beautiful (ground level) apartment with private entrance and 150 ft driveway with 36 ft carport with electric hook up. 1st bedroom has a queen size bed and a bathroom, and the 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and TV. Living room has a large TV with loveseat and recliner and a gas fireplace. A charming kitchen with full size cooking stove and refrigerator, microwave oven and toaster. It is located about 5 minutes from the Dayton Boat Dock and close to several good restaurants and several fast food restaurants. We are about one mile from Bryan College.

Great place!

Perfect place for my visit. Boat parking and power hookup worry free. Friendly owners, clean comfortable lodging in a quiet area. Close to Dayton Boat Dock.

Fabulous location

This was a great place to stay. Mary and Chuck are wonderful people and make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Location is in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything.

Ms Mary and Mr. Chuck were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to ensure that everyone was taken care of, which was especially meaningful during Tennessee's once-in-a-decade snowstorm of 2024! I highly recommend staying here!

Hidden Gem

What a great hidden gem! Mr. Chuck and Ms. Mary were the absolute sweetest people to meet and were just overall superb hosts! The mother-in-law suite is quaint and quiet and just perfect for a getaway to Tennessee! I will definitely stay here again when I get up that way in the future.

Quaint Southern Charm

This is the basement of a house, so the hosts live on the upstairs floor. The decor was charming. Everything was clean and cozy. The hosts are incredibly nice and excellent at communicating. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Perfect Stay

Fisherman’s Paradise

Mary and Chuck were great hosts. They are accessible and prompt to respond. They really want you to enjoy your stay. There is covered parking for a boat and all you need for a place to stay for a fishing trip. I stayed 5 nights and would definitely stay there again. It was very clean and peaceful. An excellent choice!

Perfect for fishing

The place is perfect for fishing. We parked our bass boat under the car shelter that had two shop lights to light up the area. There was electric right at the shelter to charge batteries on the boat. It rained while we were there but the boat stayed dry under the shelter. The house was very clean and the hosts were only there if you needed anything. It’s less than 5 minutes from the Dayton boat ramp so you spend more time fishing and less time driving. We will stay here the next time we fish Chic…

Peaceful getaway!

Took a long weekend to explore Dayton and was very lucky to find this property! Mrs. Mary is an extremely kind and accommodating host. She made check-in a breeze, and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. We absolutely loved staying here. Property is clean, quiet, and is the perfect place to relax. Loved having a carport to park under so we could escape the rain. It truly felt like our home away from home.

Very Accommodating, Perfect Fit for my Needs

My eye was drawn to the title as I was searching for a place for myself, a safe place for my boat, and close to the lake and boat ramps. Mary and Chucks little place is 1.5 miles from the main drag that runs through Dayton, just a bit further for restaurants and fuel. The Dayton Marina is less than 2 miles away. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and all around good people. I felt like I was staying with my parents. Once they got me “checked in” they went upstairs, I never saw or heard from them again. The apartment is impeccably clean and has everything you could need. I’m definitely going to be returning if they’ll have me! Thanks Chuck And Mary!

Home away from home.

I have stayed at this property twice now and I can tell you that Mary and Chuck are without a doubt my favorite home owners I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They make you feel like family. Check in process is simple and smooth and the home is clean and cozy. Very convenient to Dayton, Grasshopper and several other boat ramps. If you are a fisherman this is a great spot.

NACA Tournament Stay

This property was perfect for a week at the NACA Volleyball tournament. The hosts were excellent to work with and made sure I had everything I needed. They accommodated one night when I had my son and his friend stay with me as well. I highly reccomend this property and would stay again for sure!
