Samuels Shack in Rogue’s Point. With sea views, dog friendly & free Wifi

A Beautiful and Peaceful Location. Free public boat ramp close by.

Free wifi

Explore surrounding towns. Only a minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy sea-views, open plan living areas, two bedrooms, bathroom with shower (no bath) split system reverse cycle air conditioning, enclosed yard for little ones, outdoor area with bbq, dual access to property, room for boat. Popular fishing/crabbing, snorkling and swimming location.

Fire Pit available but you must BYO fire wood. Please keep the windows & doors closed while using it.

Pets Allowed if discussed earlier and only if they are well behaved & there mess outside is cleaned up and they are kept outside if they shed hair!

You can bring your own top & bottom sheets, pillow cases, towels, hand towel & bath mat.

There are waterproof protectors on each bed.

All Linen can be supplied and beds made up for:


Queen bed includes 2 sheets and 2 pillow cases plus 2 towels for $40.00.

King bed includes 2 sheets and 2 pillow cases plus 2 towels for $45.00.

This Includes hand towel & bath Mat.

**** At least one days notice is needed please. Price is per stay.

Quilts with covers are supplied and pillows are supplied.

Fire Pit is available but you must BYO fire wood. And please keep doors & windows closed while using it.

There is no Washing Machine.
There is Ardrossan Public Laundry in Ardrossan to use if needed. Open 7 days a week. 8.30am-5pm. Details supplied later.

Prices listed are based from 1- 4 adults/children.
Extra person $30 per night.

Easter Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at Samuel's shack on Easter time. It is comfortable, peaceful and relaxing place. It had everything that we need and hosts are great in communication making sure we are good. We love the beach and boys had fun kayaking.

Lovely homely beach shack. Great views off back verandah. Love Yorkes so don't need to be sold on the location however, now big fans of Rogues Point. Friendly locals, great beach walks and sooo quiet!! Thanks E & S. Definitely be back for a long weekend soon!

Perfect spot

Cozy beach shack, less than a 30 second walk to a very quiet beach. After swimming in the warm water, an afternoon reading and napping on the outside couches was sublime. Kitchen had everything we needed and the DVD range brought me back to being a kid. Well be back again!

This shack is always nice and clean and now freshly painted inside and out. Pantry has many holiday equipment and products available for you to use from paper plates, glad wrap to Vegemite and tomato sauce. Oh nice BBQ too 🦀

Magical dwelling in the hills

Still Light Pond is not like the other rentals. This spot is really well equipped for gatherings and a magical setting for leaving the outside word behind. The kitchen is well put together and the home has a lot of considerate touches, making it feel like your staying with family. It’s easy to fill several days here without ever leaving- rowing on the pond, exploring the nearby woods, soaking in the tub or cooking meals.

The shack was very relaxing to stay in, very clean, very basic with a fabulous view. We just chilled out with our very old little fox terrior Austin. We went for walks & swims on the beautiful beach. The shack has a great energy about it.

All you need, just like home

We had a wonderful and very comfortable experience. The shank was equipped with everything we needed. One of the pleasant surprises was the Nespresso coffee machine. A good coffee in the morning with ocean view…I can’t ask for more. Allowing us to have our sheltie dog with us made our short stay very special. Thank you.

Catching crabs in comfort!

Samuels Shack had everything we needed for a great holiday. The location was superb to easily access the beach for crab raking. The comfy lounges in the deck were perfect to capture the amazing views. We would stay here again 👍
