Are you Ready for the beach?? Literally (5) mins to Bonita or Barefoot Beaches. Miss the traffic jams!! Sleeps 4-6 with Daybed and Two large bedrooms. One spacious King bed with sitting area and private bathroom. The 2nd is a well appointed Queen bedroom. It's bathroom is next to it in hall. So two bathrooms- one bathroom in master bedroom and other next to spareroom and kitchen. Home located on Ocean boat canal, in quiet neighborhood. Updated kitchen with new Stove and Refrigerator. Dining area, Living room and Luncheon-Reading room Breezeway (it's at the opposite end of house from Living room) so it's quiet. Garage not included. Canal has easy access for kayaking and fishing. Fifteen minutes from canal to Bay and Ocean fishing. Great outdoor patio area as well as grassy area to enjoy the beautiful Bonita Canal sunsets. House available for weekly/2weeks/monthly/rental. Walk to beaches. Strole to restaurants and shopping.
We love sitting at the end of the canal at sunset. The Breezeway is a quiet place to read of just relax. See Pictures.

Quiet location with a comfortable bed.

Older single family home. Very quiet even though it's near a main street. As with some older houses, lights and switches can be a little tricky. Heat and A/C controls were also confusing at first. Comfortable bed in master, we didn't use the 2nd bedroom.

George it was nice to meet u and ur wife. Our home has best of both worlds close to the beach and easy walking to restaurants, yet quiet. You said ur wife had an ease time falling asleep. I will work on labeling or explaining the dinning room switch and remote for fan and light.

Mediocre!

Property could have been cleaner. The exterior and interior are in need of updating. The overall lighting inside is poor, and light over dining room table did not work. The garage is filled with junk! The online pictures of interior are deceiving.

Sorry u felt that way Bret and Rick. I did spend time explaining the switches and in particular the Dinning room Fan & Light. I explained how the switch must stays on and u only use the remote to turn the light and/or fan on. Also I remember u had trouble turning on the TV remote. The garage is not part of the rental so I'm not sure why you were in there. The charm of the house is in keeping some of the Vintage feel, as mentioned in the description of the house. The kitchen tho was completely renovated. New Cabinets glass doors, a new granite counter top,a new stove, new coffee maker, new Toaster,and a new -all brand new items this year- Refrigerator. Its the newest style stainless steel (like stove) French doors with two draws. Also we use professional cleaning. In closing I hope ur stay in Florida was good.

Misrepresentation of everything

This house is NOT newly renovated the bathrooms are old and dirty with very little water pressure the washer and dryer don’t actually come with the house because they are locked into the garage which you don’t have access too an addition there are no cleaning supplies we had to buy a broom, hand towels, soap, etc the kitchen floor has cracks in the tile and the grout is busted loose but they covered it up with a rug the shelf in the kitchen has never been dusted before which makes you wonder what else isn’t being cleaned terrible lighting in the whole house the patio leaves a lot to be desired

Misrepresented.

The house was old and not really clean. The bath rooms were not small they were tiny. The garage in the picture was full of an old car and lots of junk. The Washer drier was in a small room full of junk and with old filthy junk bathroom. The place was not as shown.

Dennis u are angry because u opened the garage door twice. Even after The Caretaker and our Listing said “ Garage Not Included “. It’s not Included because my 1979 restored classic Caddy is in there. Not a junky old car. And two kayaks and my tools. Maybe u thought u were buying this house not renting for a week. I hope u got out to the beautiful beaches a mile away. Amazing art galleries, museums enjoyable restraunts, a walk away and natures wonderland the Everglades 25 miles away. If u had a boat like the previous renters u could explore the cannel and Bay and fish in the Ocean. U allowed urself to get stuck in the house. Even tho u said u owned a sailboat for many years and it sounds like u enjoyed it tremendously. Please enjoy the rest of ur time here get another sailboat or rent one. Do what makes u and ur wife happy with the time thats left.

I always loved Old Vintage Florida. Especially the years as a young man traveling, living and fishing as well as sailing up and down the Florida Keys and Everglades. I'm not a young man any more and my fellow traveler and beautiful wife decided that we should returned to the Southern Tip of Florida we remember. We bought 2 homes in Bonita Shore near 5 mins from Bearfoot Beach and Bonita Beach. Then in 2017 our lovingly irrascible neighbor sadly passed away. His home which was a well kept - one owner- home with beautiful clean pastel colored tiled bathrooms - shades of Seafoam Bluegreen and coral.
His home was one of the first on the Canal. Built solidly and has a real nostalgia feel to it. As I had it renovated I did not think about renting but over time my wife said share it with others as Jimmy would in the 70's in the Keys.

beautiful canal sunsets. It blends so well from the house to the outdoors. And that's where you want to be-enjoying nature "out of doors" in Southern Florida.
