Fair Haven is sure to meet your holiday expectations. Sleeping up to 6 guests in a Queen, Double, and bunk bed, this unit is ideal for families or couples. It features a spacious living area with modern and comfortable furnishings throughout, two-way bathroom and separate toilet, laundry with washing machine and dryer, plus a fully equipped kitchen.
Located on the 1st floor, there are only a few stairs to walk up. It boasts an idyllic front balcony to sit, relax and catch the sea breeze, and an additional balcony off the main bedroom. Other features include free Wifi, smart TV & DVD, dishwasher, ceiling fans, gas BBQ, lock up garage and security screens throughout. The complex features a pool and secure entry with intercom.
Fair Haven is very close to everything you need including the patrolled Kings Beach, public pool, surf club, tavern, several cafes & restaurants incl. take-away options, beautiful parklands, safe play areas & interactive water feature, and the beautiful coastal pathways. Walk or cycle safely along the Kings Beach Headland around to Shelly, Moffat and Dicky Beach, or head to popular Bulcock Beach which forms part of the Pumicestone Passage to Bribie Island. Relax, or be as active as you like!

Bookings newly created after the 26th of September 2025 will now supply linen, however guests will still need to make the beds. Alternately if you would like to hire the linen, we can arrange this for you for an additional fee

Fantastic location and unit for the price (view of the beach). This unit has everything you need and is close to everything (beach, shops, pub and public pools). I would highly recommend this unit to any family looking for an affordable family getaway.
Great proximity to beach. Lucky we didn’t need to use the pool as the photo online is misleading as the pool is tiny and not heated

The unit was very good in size. We liked the layout and the lockup garage. It was very close to the beach, just about a walk across the road.The unit had just about everything we could have needed.A few issues, the ceiling fans and pedestal fans all had a layer of dust over them especially the main bedroom fan.We were unhappy with the sheets for the queen bed, we felt that they were a bit short and we were unable to fully tuck them in. Lucky we had bought our own sheets.Two of the 3 fry-pans we extremely damaged with scratching and the Teflon peeling off, these are not good to use and should be replaced. We had flat batteries in 2 smoke alarms. 1 was fixed the first day after making contact with the host at 9.13am. The second one I rang at 9.21am on the next day, Was told that it would be taken care of and someone would ring me from the fire detection company, they never rang. Returned at 4.29pm with the smoke detector chirping still. They eventually asked the handyman to come out. To his credit he came around after work and fixed the detector, our thanks to him.

We sincerely apologise for the issues you experienced during your stay. We have alerted our cleaners regarding the dust on the ceiling and pedestal fans. The owners have been advised that the fry pans need replacing.
We also apologise for the inconvenience caused by the smoke alarm batteries and the delay in resolving the second alarm issue. While we’re glad our handyman was able to assist promptly in the end, we understand the disruption this caused and appreciate your patience throughout.

Caloundra Holiday Centre
The apartment was great for our needs, however the 15 internal steps to the apartment could be a problem for people. Also the garage is very tight for a SUV size vehicle to get in & out, we parked in one of the 2 parking spots at front door. Overall great walking distance to the beach, the boardwalk and the Kings beach tavern. Sit outside on balcony and enjoy the view, home away from home apartment.
Clean, tidy and inviting. Walking distance to everything. Park the car and forget about it. Open the windows and listen to the ocean or watch the world go by on the balcony. Cold and sometimes wet weather meant we made use of the scrabble board on of the kids found. Can imagine that in summer it would make for the most perfect spot.

Great location
The unit was in a great location however the photos aren’t true to the unit and it’s facilities. The pool is at the back of the property in the car park and is very small, the bathroom needs upgrading, as well as the ceiling fans and there is no aircon which is uncommon in a qld home.

Thankyou for your feedback. The pool is small I agree, but this is shown in the advertisement photos - it is smaller but it is still a nice body of water to cool off in when you aren't at the beach! I have reviewed our photos online and having been to the property, I feel that they are reflective of the property.
