Picnic Bay is an ideal location for a holiday with family and friends. With much to offer and only a 3 minute stroll to beautiful Picnic Bay, you can be assured of a well-earned rest and relaxation in this modern cottage with all facilities and comforts rquired.

Enjoy the calm bay and Picnic Bay jetty, a popular spot for local fishing or just a romantic stroll at sunset. Barbeque at the Bay overlooking the night lights of Townsville, or dine in at Picnic Bay Hotel, the Brewery, Mama Roma`s, Lava Lava or Restaurant Elsie just to name a few. Magnetic Island"s golf course is also just around the corner where you can enjoy the beautiful greens and challenging fairways, then finish with a cold beverage at the inviting and friendly Clubhouse.

Our family of Mum, Dad and four adult children had a wonderful stay at Picnic Cottage. Everything we needed was supplied, beds comfy, air con efficient and deck and bbq got a work out. Only a small matter of poor internet and phone coverage that troubled some, but i loved it xxx

Surprise Birthday For Mum

Property was beautiful, my wife loved the house at first site. Was even more surprised while sitting on the deck having a snack and a couple drinks to see all 3 of her sons walk in to say surprise and happy birthday. The house and the Island had everything we needed for the weekend. Will defiantly book this house again and recommend Picnic Cottage to anyone visiting Magnetic Island.

Nice quite house

The house was lovely, quiet and clean, however there is no air conditioning in the main living area and there were some issues with keys at arrival.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We apologise for any problems you experienced on arrival with keys. The good news is that we have now installed air conditioning into the main living area of Picnic Cottage so, combined with the split system air conditioning in each of the three bedrooms, you can be assured that the whole house will be cool and comfortable all summer long!
