Merricks Stable - The Stables
Located in Merricks North on the Mornington Peninsula, and set on 10 acres of picturesque farmland, The Stables is the ideal rural retreat to enjoy all seasons.
Whether it's sitting around the amazing fire pit, enjoying a glass of local wine and gazing at the stars, or lounging by the cosy wood fire in the cooler months with a hot chocolate and good book in hand, this lovingly restored stables is sure to impress.
This fully self-contained stable conversion has a rustic feel with modern facilities and offers 3 bedrooms (2 with Queen beds and one with 2 single beds), 2 bathrooms, and open plan kitchen/dining/lounge with wood fire and plenty of firewood supplied.
The hand crafted kitchen has everything you need to prepare all your meals and includes a full-size fridge, small microwave/convection oven, 4 gas burner cooktop, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. We also provide a selection of tea, coffees, sugar, hot chocolate, full cream milk, salt & pepper and olive oil.
For additional provisions we encourage you to visit our local supermarket in Balnarring Village which is only a 10 minute drive from The Stables, or explore and discover some of the delicious local wine and fresh produce, artisan cheese, and locally distilled Gin and Whisky the peninsula has to offer.
Outside The Stables you will find a Weber BBQ, outdoor dining setting, plenty of parking, and the amazing fire pit for guests to enjoy.
If you feel like exploring the area The Stables is only a short drive from Merricks, Red Hill, and Balnarring Village. In all directions you will find amazing cafes, restaurant, wineries, shops, markets, beautiful beaches, walks and attractions to explore.
You will have complete privacy in The Stables during your stay. Our main residence is also located on the same property so we will be here to greet you on your arrival and here to assist if you need anything during your stay.
The Stables is in a rural location with private gate access. There is covered parking for one vehicle and plenty of parking at the front door of the accommodation for easy unloading of your luggage.
Please note that The Stables is one of two accommodation offerings on the property. The Stables and The Hayshed are positioned approximately 200 metres from each other so guests will have complete privacy in the accommodation.
We do ask that you kindly respect other guests privacy and are considerate of noise levels during your stay.

Small daytime events considered. Guests must book both The Stables and The Hayshed and an additional event fee will be charged. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Pets:
The Stables is dog friendly and provides a small secure dog yard next to The Stables. Dogs are permitted inside the accommodation, however we do request that they are not allowed on the beds or furniture, or left unattended inside the accommodation.
There is also a small grass area next to the accommodation that your dog can enjoy supervised.
Please note that as The Stables is located on a working cattle farm and may have other guests staying at the property, we request that dogs are not permitted to wander and are supervised at all times.
Please let us know when booking if you will be bringing your dog on your stay.
