Comfortable 2 bedroom duplex with an attached garage. This home is located in a residential neighborhood, convenient to restaurants, shopping and Grand Island Senior High for sporting events. Close to the malls and near Highway 281 for easy access. The home is a 1950's style but the interior has been recently painted and the hardwood floors have been refinished to their natural beauty! Additional amenities include: clothes washer & dryer and gas grill, just perfect for a relaxing bbq! Dog friendly. Contact me for directions or recommendations. Loved it, felt like home we have kids from 1-13 and they loved it and yes big enough for all of us even with two rooms cute retro features and great communication as well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great location too.

The house was clean, comfortable, quiet and had all that we needed for the kitchen and linens etc. Quiet neighbourhood, nice for taking walks. We were travelling with dogs and Al was very accommodating.

Retro ranch straight out of the 1950

This home is very well maintained from the day it was built. It is a charming home with everything you could need provided my a very friendly and helpful property owner. We loved our stay and home to stay again each time we are in Grand Island.

Great Experience !

The house was well maintained, clean, with many extras (laundry detergent, plenty of towels, extra blankets). It is not over furnished making the smaller floor plan feel plenty big for and allowing for plenty of space for an air mattress if needed.

We hadn't seen on the listing that this is a duplex so that was an unwanted surprise. The beds were comfortable and clean, but the kitchen was not well stocked with utensils. The neighborhood was noisy.

Aksarben stay

We stayed at this property during the Aksarben livestock show. Property was just as described. Nothing fancy but we were only there to sleep and shower. We did have trouble getting in and out of the property with the lock box on the front door. If that process could be streamlined a bit it would be all 5 stars!

Not good, Al should not be a VRBO host.

Was not told it was a duplex, we'd be sharing with a neighbor who kept a barking dog. Toilet clogged repeatedly and ultimately stopped flushing. Wifi too weak to even use email. 5 remotes and couldn't figure out the TV, asked the owner and he didn't know, either. Plug-in air fresheners were gaggingly over powering. No written instructions anywhere for anything. No recycling. No kleenex.

In reply to your review, I dispute the fact we didn’t know what remote to use, we told you which one. The internet connection carries a strong signal to stream movies, check email, surf internet simultaneously. As far as plugging the toilet, we had zero communication during your stay that it was an issue. After your review we contacted a plumber but shortly cancelled as the house keeper was able to free the clog with just a plunger and minimal effort. No logical person has a 3 day stay and reports no issues during their stay yet demands a refund at checkout. It’s like ordering a steak, eating the whole thing, then demanding it free as it didn’t meet your expectations. You asked for a refund you have received a full refund, have a nice life.
