Provided linen would have been better but otherwise we all enjoyed our stay. Plenty of heating for the cooler times, plenty of kitchen facilities. We had no problems with our stay.
Easy check-in, good communication with Maria the host, excellent location, secure back yard for dogs. Everything you need as far as kitchen utensils, crockery, pots etc. We had a great time.
Had a great stay here on a family holiday (8 adults). Great location easy walk to beach and into town. Two bathrooms was ideal. Nothing fancy but everything we needed
Kids loved the play equipment, the dog loved the big fenced yard, and the grownups loved being able to get great coffee around the corner on our morning walks. A lovely big house perfect for a family holiday.

Thank you for staying with us. Hope you’ll come back soon.
Property in great location with a short wall to Shops, Cafes, Beach and Football Ground.
The Large Deck and back yard were great for enjoying the hot weather and relaxing.
The host , Maria, is terrific. This is an ‘ old school ‘ holiday house . Be prepared for plenty of outdoor play for kids , a beaut deck ( shaded) a quiet street and easy access to park, beach and main street . Don't stress about decor or matching crockery , the sofas are comfy, the bedrooms are quiet, and food tastes great whether the plates match or not
This house was very well equipped, clean and perfect for a larger group. We had a brilliant time at this property. Walking distance to everything. No complaints. Will book here again.

Incredible property!
We loved the functionality of the living space, huge decking and large backyard. All members of the family (between 7-96 years) were so impressed! The owners are so accommodating and provided 5-star personalised service. We are definitely keen to return to this incredible property.

Am really glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Our week at Coastal Haven was thoroughly enjoyable. The property is convenient to all Queenscliff's amenities including the beaches, shops, parks and marina.
The property is well appointed with a large backyard with heaps for kids to enjoy, large outdoor bbq deck and indoor living room.
Bedrooms were good size with firm beds, fans in the rooms and plenty of choice from Queen to bunk beds.
We look forward to staying at Coastal Haven again in the future.
Maria’s house was such a delight for our Easter break even with the unseasonably cold wet windy weather. The kids loved all the games and play equipment outside- the table tennis was well used. Our dogs delighted in the huge undercover are and large backyard. The house was clean and well appointed. The location was amazing- so close to the beach and Main Street. Thoroughly recommend

Rustic & Quirky, a real fixer upper.
Let's start by saying the property was livable, in a great location, and we did have a great 3 day Easter Break with 8 Adults and 4 kids under 7.
However, for young modern families in today's competitive accommodation market Coastal Haven let us down.
No WiFi - Meant a break from some of our usual creature comforts.
Free to air TV only, dvd's or...wait for it.....VHS!
Yes, luckily we remembered how to use a VHS.
First night was a treat with the whole family watching 'The Mask'. What a trip down memory lane. :)
Yes, the house is original in the bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen and back area were more modern, well stocked with an odd assortment of plates, cutlery, pans etc, but no pantry staples.
With 12 people for 3 days the supply of soap, washing powder, tissues, paper towel etc was purely token. We left a much better store behind to help the next guests.
The key surfaces had been cleaned, but anything more than the mandatory was not. Cupboards were dirty, dust & cobwebs were everywhere outside & inside, and frankly a bit disappointing.
The listing photos are quite old, and if the table tennis table is pictured, well it was not there. Attn previous tenants: please explain how you break a table tennis table? What on earth were you doing on it?
Back yard was terrific for the kids, with swings, monkey bars, and plenty of room for ball games. Clearing the lawn of broken glass would have been appreciated.
Some key basic maintenance is sadly needed.
OK for a budget option.
We had a great weekend, accommodation great for family and kids, close to town

Great location
Property was in a fantastic location with plenty of space for a large group. Host attentive to queries. Disappointed to have to supply own linen and no internet.
We felt totally at home. So much space inside and outside the home, coupled with the stunning parks, shops and beaches all within walking distance. Couldn’t ask for more.
What a fantastic place to base yourself for Easter. Quite neighbourhood, easy walk to shops beach restaurants everywhere you would care to go.
Plenty of room for the humans ( our group of 9) and our fur balls with a secure yard. 10/10
Thanks
Coastal Haven was the perfect house for the weekend to meet up with family. Clean and practical, good layout with great open plan living area with a huge kitchen table for everyone to sit around to eat meals and have a drink. Massive outdoor decking area with bbq and a wonderful big garden for the dogs! Great location, walking distance to shops, pubs, galleries and the beaches. Would definitely stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Maria Charalambous
I have been visiting Queenscliff since I was 12 and have loved the area and now am happy I can share it with my husband, daughter, sisters, nieces and nephew. Great for the family and kids to see where I use to come as a teenager.
Why they chose this property
Queenscliff is the perfect place for families and kids as it isn't as busy and out of control like the Peninsula at summer. It is a small country town by the Ocean. I bought this house as I loved the open plan living area where you can be preparing meals and still be around where family is relaxing.
What makes this property unique
Great for 2 or more families to share and plenty to do for everyone in a spacious house and outdoor area.
