About this property

Poolside Retreat, Steps to the Ocean!

You'll be poolside while being only steps from the beach! We are located next to the larger of the two swimming pools The Dawn has to offer. Additionally guests will have secured & monitored parking, access to a clubhouse as well as a full workout facility. We are located on the Seawall and are very close to all the attractions Galveston has to offer! First floor unit, no stairs!!!

Entry - Keyless code entry, removes the hassle of looking after another set of keys! First floor, easy access to parking.

Main Room - A tastefully decorated open floor plan offering comfortable seating for your family & friends. A 48" smart tv allows you access to all your favorite streaming services, a blue ray player is available as well. Couch turns into a full size sleeper as well.

Back Patio - Furnished with two chairs and foot rests and easy access to the pool with our gate!

Kitchen - Fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, utensils, and other basic cooking supplies. Coffee & Tea is complimentary and can be made via a pot or pod.

Bedroom - Queen size bed with views out to the swimming pool. TV is set up for a Blue Ray player, as well as cable tv or the ability to sign into any of your streaming accounts you may have. The room is light, bright and very comfortable.

Closet - Fully stocked with extra pillows, sheets, comforters, towels, beach towels and a one person fold out sleeping pad.

Bathroom - Extra large shower. Stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper & towels.

Laundry - Full size washer and dryer for guests convenience.

*The Dawn charges $40 per car, for lengths of stay of 1-3 nights, and $50 per car, for lengths of stay of 4 or more nights for guests to park their cars inside the gates. This applies to all visitors and is meant to keep your valuables protected and only allow paying guests to enjoy our amenities.
*Absolutely NO smoking, parties, undisclosed guests or glitter inside the condo.
*No pets are allowed.

The condo was in a great location,the condo itself was spacious clean and the owner was very pleasant and courteous, checking in was pleasant. The grounds is beautiful. The only complaints I would have is I wish there was bigger parking spaces other than that it's that kind of place where you wait to go back

The condo was in a great location, which made it convenient for everything we wanted to do. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. That said, the unit itself was difficult to find, could really benefit from a deep cleaning, and had a strong musty odor that made it less comfortable. With a little more attention to cleanliness and upkeep, it would be an excellent place to stay given the location and hosts.

Great location - great condo

We loved this property! Right across the street from the beach, a wonderful, hot tub, and a perfect condo! We would definitely stay here again. Very roomy and clean inside the condo and the complex! Not one single complaint here

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We came to have one last surprise getaway for our kids before school started. We absolutely loved the location ( you can't beat how close it is to the pool!) From a family standpoint, we loved how close it was to the Walmart as well. The place was very clean, owner answered and questions I had. My family really enjoyed staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a week in this great locstion. No more than 10 minutes to any location we visited . The unit was well stocked and very clean. Communication with the owner was quick and helpful.

Great Seawall Access

Close to the seawall (just across the street) with tons of included amenities such as gym and pool. Property manager in building two is friendly and helpful with acquiring parking passes ($37.00 for the extent of our stay).

Simply Awesome

I had a great experience. I haven't stayed at a lot of VRBO homes but this condo has great mattresses that gave great sleep. The location is centrally located and just a walk from the beach.The owners were nice, going above and beyond for us. There was a misunderstanding on my part on scheduling and the owners came through for me and my family. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in Galveston.

The stay was ok

My childhood friend and i planned a long weekend away to relax as we both have very busy lives and work long hours. We drove a little over 5 hours to get to the Dawn and arrived at the unit around 5pm. It was unbearable hot inside and smelled terrible. In just the few minutes we were able to stay inside the unit we realized that it was poorly cleaned. . We contacted the owner about the AC and he immediately began trying to find out what was going on with it but the heat was so bad that we had to leave the unit and go into town. He later called us to let us know that the air conditioning unit was completely broken and that he would not be able to get it repaired until the next afternoon. But that he was on his was to bring us a portable air conditioning unit and two giant fans in an effort to make us comfortable that night sadly he lived over an hour away so again we had to wait in the heat. He did show up with the portable AC unit and the two gigantic fans that were so loud sleeping was almost impossible even with earplugs and the unit never really cooled down so we were pretty uncomfortable all night long. The AC repair guy decided to come the next morning and again we had to leave the condo while they repaired the unit. The AC unit was up and running before lunch so we were finally able to go hang out at the condo for the first time. The AC was fixed and super cold. The giant shop fans and the portable AC unit stayed in the condo and obviously that made a small condo even more cluttered but at least it was cool. We were unable to use the pull out sofa bed because it was so dirty but the other sofa was comfy to sleep on.. The televisions only had one working remote between the two of them. The ceiling fans only had one speed (low). One of the smoke detectors had been taken down and taken down and apart so it was not working. The games were Strewn all over the unit so playing games was not an option. The day before we were to leave the owners messaged us asking us to wash all of the towels, dishes and the bed linens before we checked out at 11:00 even though we had paid additional cleaning fee. We paid more than the site said per night before taxes, cleaning, parking and fees for the unit and the owner refunded us less than 1 nights rent due to The A/C being out from the time we arrived until around 11 AM the next day. Tyler is a nice young man this is their only property so if there is an issue he can’t put you in a different unit. You’re stuck

This condo was amazing. The bed was comfortable and I love that the pool was right behind and right off the back porch. My only suggestion was you need more mirrors around the place just not in the bathroom and bedroom that was covered by the TV.

Stay here!

This condo was perfect for my family of 5, including 3 teenagers. They had everything we needed! Having direct access to the pool 10 steps away right out the back door was perfect. The patio held all of our pool and beach items and kept the mess and sand outside! Super easy access across the street from the beach, and the wagon was SO convenient to have! Great location away from the crowds, the beach was private and so clean. We will stay here again!
