Suite offers master bedroom, full kitchen, bathroom w/a tub, & living room with Wi-Fi, cable & DVD. Why pay so much more at low-end area hotels ($180/night, average) when you can spend less? This guest home is very private and quiet and is separate from the main house. Unlike hotels that often have noisy guests in the halls (and sometimes above, below, or on the sides of your hotel room), this room is peaceful. You'll wake up to beautiful Plum Brook golf course and our lovely, safe, Huron neighborhood. For families traveling to Sandusky's brand new Sports Park, there is a kitchen in the unit so that some of the family meals can be home cooked! Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Please remember to take trash out to the bin behind the red shed and wash and put away all dishes. You do not have to strip the bed. Please also lock the garage door upon your departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
1st and last names of EACH guest staying on property are required, including minors. Guests unwilling to give host all names will not be approved.
Dogs are $35/night, per dog. VRBO website doesn't have capability to charge guests for more than 1 dog. Additional dog fees will be sent separately.
No cats, no smoking, and no extra guests other than the registered guests are allowed on the property.

Great alternative to local hotels

Great, little getaway

Great apartment and great host

We had an excellent stay at this well kept apartment / property right across from a golf course. Our hosts were wonderful people, and the apartment had everything we needed. It is also very close to a major shopping plaza, and Sandusky's Cedar Point. If we are back in the area we would happily stay here again.

Clean property and quiet location

My son and I stayed in the house for a local baseball tournament and a visit to Cedar Point. The property is clean and in a nice area close to lots of things. The property owners were helpful in suggesting local food locations near by. Definitely would stay again. Much better than staying in a hotel.

Home away from home. Great communication from host. Easy check-in and check-out. Perfect location for Sports Force Park. Ample caffeine and creamers 🙂 available. Plenty of extra linens and, if necessary, toiletries and cleaning supplies. Thankfully we had no rainouts, but the unit had our favorite DVDs and games on hand, as well as books and magazines. Perfect Location and atmosphere.

The location was so close to Cedar Point that we were at the park in minutes, but yet far off the tourist areas so that we got to come back and have a relaxing evening. Woke up the next day and enjoyed the community by going to a local beach and restaurant. Beautiful surroundings. The property was clean and centrally located for other activities.

This review is from a guy who came to fish Lake Erie. The area is very nice and there is plenty of Room to park, which is my biggest concern when booking. Where ever we fish we bring multiple trucks and trailers. It is very clean and very well suited for a family of 4. We had for adult males, which was OK however there is only one bed. We utilized air mattresses. The owners are very nice. There is a very nice church right down the street as well. We enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I are foodies, so we primarily travel to eat! One of our favorite destinations is Hilton Head. My husband is a military veteran, and I stay busy running our vacation rentals. We love getting to know new people, which is why transient rentals appeal to us. Our listings appeal to guests because of their proximity to one of the world's largest amusement parks, Cedar Point.

We are a Veteran-owned property and are military-friendly. We love our police and firefighters too!
Although we are dog-friendly, we cannot allow cats due to a family member's severe allergy.
Book your room in advance for Sports Force Park Tournaments or Cedar Point visits, as our county's room offerings dwindle during our busy season.

DOG POLICY:
1. Pets may not be left unattended. There are many great pet sitters and daycare options in our area.
2. Any pet stains or pet odors will be professionally cleaned after departure and the cost of the service will be the pet owner’s responsibility.
3. Pets are expected to be clean and odor free when they are staying with us.
4. Pets may be taken on leash out to a specific area for restroom breaks. Please bring poop bags for and pick up after your pet.
5. No bathing of pets is allowed anywhere in our guest house. There is a wonderful pet wash right down the road from us. :-)
6. If there is an excessive amount of hair or fur left in the unit, there will be a cleaning charge for the removal of the hair that will come out of your deposit.
