Location, Location, Location! Immaculately Kept!

Nestled in the heart of Dewey only a block from the beach, rent this fantastic 8BR house as a whole. It is pristinely maintained and sports 2 separate levels of living space. You may rent by the weekend, midweek, full week , and extended options. The only stipulation being that you can't check-in or out on a Saturday. You can rent as many nights as you like; however, we keep out weekends together. The best bang for the buck is to rent Sunday to Friday.

The property is set up to entertain with 2 breezy decks off each kitcehn and family room area. Both floors have a full-size kitchen with the top one dualing as a bar area as well. There is a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and refrig on each of the 2 levels of the house. There is also a full-size deck on each of the 2 levels and parking for 4-5 cars.

Be the envy of people walking by...this location includes top of the line cabinetry, under mount stainless double sinks with granite counter tops. Appliances are stainless, including wolf induction range with large oven. The washer/dryers are full sized (2sets). Bathrooms have Corian counter-tops with Toto no-clog toilets. Furnishings are from top makers including Tommy Bahama, Moosehead, Bob Timberlake, Hooker, Potterybarn, etc. The flooring can't be beat with all living areas having hand skived hardwood floors with Tactesse carpeting in the bedrooms (very soft!). The kitchen's small appliances are from Williams and Sonoma including a Capresso coffee maker, miele vacuum, villaware waffle maker, Kitchen aide mixer, Waring blender, etc. Decking made from Brazilian hardwood with comfortable outdoor furniture. Also included are additional beach chairs, wagon, boogie boards, beach activities, etc.

This property is clearly for those that want to have no worries when they come in town to enjoy DEWEY! Either cook in or go out to enjoy fabulous restaurants...recommendations available upon request! Just bring your belongings and you are ready to go. All this PLUS YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF DEWEY, 1 block to the beach...PRIME LOCATION!!!

Jolly Trolley pick up at the end of the street. Runs every 20 minutes from 9 am to 2 am. You can check in internet for exact times or a schedule is available at the unit.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This house was perfect for our group's stay during a friend's wedding. Plenty of rooms for each couple and plenty of bathrooms, which is prime for big groups getting ready for events. Proximity to the beach is choice.

Perfect house

It was a great house for a family of 15 with 10 adults and 5 children 10,6 and 3- 3 year olds. There was plenty of space for everyone . It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and a few min to restaurants and quick shopping. Rehobeth Boardwalk was about a 9 minute drive. Highly recommend.

Great family getaway

Great location, clean and large accommodating spaces. I thought having two separate living areas would make them feel small but there was plenty of room on both floors for the whole family. As a bonus, the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Also, having a few umbrellas and chairs setup for us on the beach was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect house in a great location

Our family reunion in Dewey Beach was so easy and delightful. The house was the perfect size for 7 adults and 7 kids, including teens and toddlers. The kitchen had everything we needed, but there were great spots just a block away. The beach was beautiful and very close. Everything was great.

Incredible Home with an even better location!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was incredibly spacious and our large group of girls fit very comfortably. Not to mention the mattresses were extremely comfortable! Enough bathrooms to accommodate a 19 person party. The location was truly incredible. Within walking distance to the bars/restaurants and a block and a half to the beach. The host was very easy to communicate with and gave very clear directions. Highly recommend!

Wedding Weekend

My wife and I got married at Baywood in Milsboro and stayed at this property over the weekend of our wedding with family and friends. It was an absolutely perfect location for the group. We were able to walk to the beach each morning, there are plenty of food options around, and the starboard is less than a block away! The house itself was amazing. With multiple refrigerators, kitchens and living spaces, everyone was able to hang out together when they wanted, but have privacy when needed. I could not recommend a better place to stay in Dewey with a large group!

Great house and location! Owner shows up unexpectedly.

The house was amazing! Everything we needed was available to us. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that I felt like I was being watched by the owner. On Friday, the owners children were there doing “maintenance” though I wasn’t sure exactly what they were doing. And on check out day the owner showed up at 845 am as we were trying to pack up and clean up and began lecturing us about the trash. I was fully aware of how to do dispose of the trash if it didn’t fit designated trash cans but it seemed she assumed I was just going to leave it there. Afterward she waited at the bottom of the outdoor steps appearing to be monitoring us. Check out was 10am and we were out in plenty of time for her to come after that. I just felt very uneasy in the home like the owner was waiting for me to mess up or destroy her home. This group was a bunch of 30 something adults with homes and families of our own and very respectful of peoples homes. Again great house great location but be prepared for unexpected visits from the owner

It’s very difficult to respond to this review. If I came to the property on Saturday morning, walked in and asked to see their dishwasher, I would say, “the owner shows up unexpectedly” but not 30 minutes before check out to pick up the dirty sheets placed outside the property for laundering. I have 10 properties in Dewey and really no time or desire to “watch” any particular rental. On Friday, the cleaning staff, which only includes one of my adult children, turned over the property we own next door. They do not access any part of the rental property of this one or go near any door that rentals utilize to get inside their property. Then, not one of our maintenance crew or cleaning came to any of our properties even this one for the entire weekend that this property was rented. Between 9:55 and 10:05 on Sunday our cleaning staff which includes me show up and wait in our laundry room for the turn over to start. This area is again, nowhere within the rental’s access of the property. No one, especially me, stands by the outside stairs, it is in direct sun. I’m also unsure what “lecture” about trash is being referenced as greater than 10 bags of trash were piled up next to the cans under the house at check out and I simply showed the one person adding more trash to the pile where our additional cans were placed against our next door property. It was literally 7 words I said at the most. “Those cans are for your use also”. I apologize if my tone seemed too directive as it was meant to be helpful just as the early check-in I allowed should have been.

Convenient to everything, great for group

This was a great place to spend a family Thanksgiving... This year we had some folks with specific dietary preferences/allergies and having two kitchens made it incredibly easy to keep everyone happy and safe. The location was great, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance even during the off-season, just watch out for the Town's Parking rules if you happen to put a car on the street for any reason! Communication was great, and when we had a question right at the beginning of the stay she responded right away and helped resolve it. While a little chilly during our stay, the double, large porches were places that would add even more space to an already large home - bedrooms were well furnished and decorated, with plenty of room and comfy beds for all. Would definitely rent again.

This is a property for someone that wants to have a vacation without stress and worries. We even take care of having 2 umbrellas and 8 chairs set up at the beach for you each day. We have 2 renii tankless water heaters than run nonstop running hot water.
