Beautiful home in quiet neghborhood

We had a wonderful stay in a peaceful and serene neighborhood just north of Durango. Easy drive to town or to Purgatory.The house has everything you will need from spices, pots and pans and dishes. The house is cozy and backs up to one of the greens on the golf course. Cable and internet were top notch.We had a restful stay with adventures around the area. Truly a 5 star stay.

Beautiful Durango House!

Amazing time in Durango and the rental was everything and more than we could have asked for! From booking the reservation, Pepper was there to make sure that our stay was nothing short of, perfect! Checked in with the first day to make sure we got into the property and let us know to reach out with any questions! I did have a couple of questions- which Pepper got back to me incredibly fast about! They still had the Christmas decorations up when we arrived (Per our request) and it the holidays spirits were high! Highly recommend booking this rental.

The best equipped home we have ever rented!!!

We absolutely loved this home. Our stays are usually 2 weeks so we tend to over pack things "we think we will need". This trip we had to pack up quick to leave a day early to beat icy roads, therefore didn't get to pack as well. Everything we needed and then some was available. Pepper is the most generous and available owner we have ever rented from. We highly recommend renting this home. Thank you Pepper for a great stay!

Amazing home in Dalton Ranch

Spent the long weekend skiing and watching Super Bowl with friends. We loved our stay at this Beautiful very clean property. It was such a cozy place beautifully decorated and well equipped for all your need. The owner was great, always checking in to make sure we got situated and inquired if we had any questions or needs! We would enjoy coffee on the back porch while watching the heard of elk wondering by. BEAUTIFUL experenice. Property was perfectly located to the ski resort / Downtown Durango and the Durango Hot springs. Highly recommend this home to family and friends.

What an amazing property!

Our stay here was absolutely phenomenal and exactly what we needed! The back porch view was gorgeous and the fire pit allowed us to enjoy the cool evenings outside. The drive into town is quick (10-15 minutes) and easy. Our host Pepper checked in with us throughout the stay and was available if we had any questions about the house or the area. We have already recommended this house to our family and friends and we cannot wait to go back in the summer!

Durango Vacation

This was truly one of the nicest rental properties we have stayed at. The location was perfect. Even though the backyard was overlooking a golf hole it was very private. The home had all the amenities needed for a weeks stay. The home is exquisitely decorated, was super clean and was so comfortable. The wrap around deck with the fire pit and brand new grill made for nice evenings outside. The communication with the owner was easy and quick. The only issue we had was with the seasonal box elder bugs. They were everywhere outside with a few that made their way inside. They are harmless and died overnight but they made a mess of the deck, porch and driveway. A leaf blower came in handy to blow them away. From what the owner told me this was an unusual large number of them this time of the year. Even with that it didn’t take away from a great vacation in a great home in a great location.

To anyone slightly interested in booking this property – grab it quickly! The owners of this property demonstrate meticulous attention to every detail that a guest might need. From drawer space to closet space (supplied with more than enough hangers) to perhaps forgotten toothbrushes and toothpaste and other toiletries. The home is immaculately clean and very well appointed. The owners provided a welcome notebook with details about the home, deck and AV system. A kitchen cabinet housed instruction manuals for pretty much EVERYTHING the property sported. Each bedside nightstand discretely housed two USB charging ports plus a three-pronged port. Genius. The gorgeous wrap around porch with mountain and fairway views was made even more enjoyable watching the sunup to sundown hummingbird parade.

Absolutely loved this home!

Staying at this home was such a treat. We felt welcomed and pampered from the moment we walked in. The owners have created a lovely home--beautiful furnishings and artwork, a high-quality and well stocked kitchen, and a fantastic patio with grill, firepit, golf course views and stunning star gazing. Cozy blankets, comfy bedding/towels, a candy dish full of chocolates, a large DVD library and great instructions/labeling were the kinds of extra touches that made it hard to leave. My husband was in awe of the organized and clean garage and I appreciated the notes inviting us to feel free to use the kitchen supplies and fireplace. Stacks of brochures about the surrounding area made it easy to plan our days. Pepper checked in with us several times right after we booked the property and during our stay. He was friendly, helpful, responsive and kind. He provided recommendations (and even mailed me brochures in advance) based on the kinds of activities and restaurants we liked. A genuine pleasure to work with. Durango is a wonderful community with so many good restaurants. Pick up cinnamon rolls at nearby PJ's Market! Durango is close to Mesa Verde, the million dollar highway and many other adventures. A very friendly and fun place to visit. Thank you Pepper and Penny for sharing your home. We can't wait to return someday. And when we do, we will plan our stay around the availability of this home. It's really that good.

We loved our stay at this property! so beautiful, and very clean. It was such a cozy place ,loved looking at the people golfing outside. The fire pit was fabulous as it still was chilly in the evening . The manager was so great with any questions we had! Would very well go there again!!

Best Booking Ever

From the moment we hit book all the way until we had arrived home Pepper was amazing! He made the process so enjoyable and easy. I cannot say enough about him. The house was not only as advertised, but it was more. EVERYTHING that we could have needed or forgotten was at our fingertips. Even the things we didn’t know we needed were at this house. We stayed over Christmas and the house was decorated! It even had a Christmas tree!!! We are checked in during our stay and after. We even left some extremely important pictures on a thumb drive in the tv. Pepper called to let us know that he mailed them to us. It was amazing. The house was so comfortable and clean and just gorgeous. Looking out the back wall of windows to see deer on the gold course and mountains galore. Absolutely breathtaking. We will be back!!

Perfect golf casa

This house is spotless and extremely well appointed. The kitchen is very well equipped with just about everything you can imagine. The patio is wonderful. We ate lots of meals on it as we watched the golfers. The owner is very kind and most helpful. He wants to make your stay the best. We highly recommend this property. We will definitely come back.

Top Notch Property & Hosts

This home is a clean, modern, beautiful two full bedroom, with an extra bonus study that has a single pull out sofa which was perfect to be able to split up my two teen-agers... both bathrooms were well appointed with all of the special touches like quality shampoo/conditioner, hand soaps, lotions, rinse cups, and soft towels. The living area is cozy with a gas fireplace and large flat screen TV... but the kitchen was the most impressive... with matching glassware, plates, cooking pans/pots... toaster oven, and all of the kitchen gadgets you can imagine... plus the knives are sharp!... this was truly a home away from home experience... easy to read instructions, heated two car garage, and a great view of the golf course and mountains... it is 17 miles from Purgatory resort.. and about 12 miles into downtown Durango.. so easy access to both.. plus they have a hardware stores grocery store, and wine/liquor store just a block away... we'd definitely recommend and stay here again... we had a wonderful time with perfect weather.. Everything about our experience with this owner and property were great. Home is beautifully decorated and well stocked for whatever you need. Centrally located between downtown and the mountain. Great communication from owner both before and during our stay.
