Bruny Island extends 55 km from Dennes Point in the north to Cape Bruny Lighthouse in the south with a modest resident human population of around 800. Access is via a vehicular ferry from Kettering, a half hour drive south from Hobart.

We are a 15-20 minute drive from the ferry disembarkation at Roberts Point.
Within a 15 minute drive from Echidna on Bruny you can enjoy fresh local oysters, artisan French-style cheeses, locally smoked meats, inviting beaches for walking and swimming, a cafe with an outstanding view, an art gallery showcasing local artists, Tasmanian whiskies.
