About this property

Sun-drenched with spectacular views. Central location for exploring Bruny.

The Stowaway is the perfect central location to soak up the best of what Bruny Island has to offer.

Sleeping up to four, the cottage is only 100m from the water's edge, accessible by the Sheepwash Track at the front of the property. This coastal esplanade will take you to several beaches, and is an easy walk to the only pub on the island, Hotel Bruny.

With sweeping views of Tasmanian mainland, the property boasts a large deck for you to enjoy meals, drinks and stunning sunsets across the water with Hartz Mountains as a backdrop.

The house is set up for you to unwind and soak up the best of Bruny. Use it as a comfortable base to explore incredible bushwalks and landscapes of the island. The only pub on the island is one minute drive, or a 10 minute walk, and for a more upmarket lunch and wine tasting, the vineyard is 5 minutes by car.

Two cosy bedrooms sleep up to 4 adults. The lounge/dining is equipped with heating which heats the entire house quickly, television, NBN wifi, and a powerful portable bluetooth speaker. Games, books and DVDs are provided.

Love the view
Attractive, comfortable cottage with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely view to the west, across the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, of the southern mountains. Really enjoyed being there.

So Relaxing
We had a wonderful stay and everything we needed was available to us. The house was plenty big enough but nice and compact at the same time making it very easy to keep tidy. The deck is amazing and the kids loved seeing the Wobbalies {Wallaby's} that came each evening and the easy walk down to the water to cool off. I highly recommend this BnB and hope to return ourselves in the future. Thank You so very much

Cute cottage with stunning views
Great location about 10min walk from Bruny Hotel. Great view of the D’Entrecasteaux channel and snow capped mountains in the distance. Didn’t have a chance to use the deck but bbq as the sunsets would be fantastic. Comfy bed
