About this property
CeeViews - Affordable Ocean Views
Although CeeViews is a older style property on the outside, it is a very pleasant surprise once you step inside, with the interior completely renovated into a modern 2 bedroom unit with views looking straight out to sea. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The unit is fully self-contained and offers accommodation for up to 4 people. Reverse cycle heating/cooling, a fully equipped kitchen including full size fridge, microwave, electric cook top and oven. Stunning views from loungeroom, kitchen/dining area and main bedroom. Come and stay, you'll never want to leave! There is a garage, and a large back yard, which is suitable for boats and trailers. Portland is known for its tuna fishing and whale watching. Whales visit our bay in May through to October. If you are lucky, you don't even have to leave CeeViews to see the whales! Portland also has a busy Port. Sitting in the loungroom or out on the front decking, you can watch the tugs bring in the ships, we even have visiting criuse ships in February. There is always something happening in the bay.....

About the host
Hosted by Janine Trewavis

I grew up in Portland and have lived here all my life. I'm very passinate about Portland and think that it has a lot to offer for locals and travellers.
Why they chose this property
CeeViews was built sometime in the 1960's. It is situated on the cliff top, overlooking the Portland Bay. My husband and I fell in love with the property and the view. We hope to eventually rebuild and live in this beautiful private street.
What makes this property unique
Being able to sit and look at the view from the main bedroom, the lounge room and the kitchen/dining area is magic, it's almost as though you are sitting on the water. There always seems to be something happening on the water, whether it is some shipping movement, watching the yachts racing in the summere, and in winter it's whale watching season many people can say that they watch the whales from their loungeroom!!
