About this property

Talisman Ocean views

Talisman is located on the clifftop with amazing sea views. It has a spacious lounge and dining area, the lounge is fitted with a large flat screen TV, single day bed and a very comfortable lounge suite. Talisman has a lovely outside deck overlooking the ocean watching the glorious morning sunrises, shipping movements, whales and dolphins in season. The kitchen also has ocean views and is fully equipped and fitted with all new appliances including a dishwasher, stove, oven, full fridge/freezer and a microwave. The two bedrooms contain queen beds, and a TV in each room. The bathroom has a shower, and double vanity unit and the toilet is located separately. The Talisman has a washing machine and dryer for your convenience.

Talisman is located in Portland on Hanlon Parade, it is very close to the heart of town. A fifteen minute walk along the scenic clifftop will take you to the Restaurants, fishing hub and our beautiful beach. A Weber BBQ is supplied to enjoy an outdoor meal on Talisman's beautiful deck overlooking the ocean.

Portland is a great place for the adventurers! it boasts one of the most sort after blue fin tuna fishing spots in the world. Surrounded by natures wonders, experiences like the Gannet Colony and Enchanted Forest Walk are only minutes away. A short drive will take you to breath-taking Bridgewater bay where you can enjoy a meal at the café and then head out to the Fur Seal Colony or the Bridgewater lakes.

Talisman has free parking and free Wi-Fi, and air-conditioning, and is ideal for a couple or small family.

This property is gorgeous, it suited us perfectly. It's beautifully presented with lots of towels, shampoo etc provided, warm and cosy, comfy beds. Right on the road but very little traffic. We'd love to return and spend more time in the area - this property is a great base. Highly recommended.

We loved Portland! And we loved this gorgeous property. Spotlessly clean and so well appointed with everything you could need. Hard to pull the blinds down in the evening as the view from the living room was amazing. We have been using Stayz for years to book holidays and this is the best property we have ever found. We had the pleasure of staying at Talisman for two nights, from the moment we walked into this beautiful home, we wished we'd booked for a week at least!! The views are stunning and that's just the beginning! This accommodation is so welcoming and has everything you could possibly need, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, even Tim Tams for an arrival treat, to accompany a tea and coffee, also supplied, thank you so much Bernadette, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful piece of heaven!

Exactly as the pics show. Beautiful decor, well equipped kitchenette. Exceptional cleanliness. view of the Sea from most angles. Lovely outside Deck, quiet area. A small Fan in Bedroom would be good, although you get a breeze with door open, the blinds make a noise.

Gorgeous peaceful location

Beautiful comfortable house. We had a cosy week at Talisman in July, loved waking up to a glorious view. Did lots of day walks on the Great South West Walk, the book Short walks of the GSWW we found very useful – available from the tourist office. The TV and the stove were a bit challenging to work without instructions (disappeared on the stove). Found great coffee, seafood and bread in town. Portland is a fascinating place to visit, we especially enjoyed the many historical buildings and friendly people.

This is first time I have been to a property where the photos and supporting information were as advertised. It is beautifully appointed and so clean. Any minor issues were based on personal preference (e.g. we prefer gas to electric and would have been good to have a pot big enough to cook pasta in). The owner of the property provided excellent communication, instructions and responses were prompt. We are looking forward to staying there again.

2nd time stay - 2nd time happy

This is second time we have stayed here. We spent double the time. Weather was not the best but staying indoors more than we were planning was not a problem at all -it is a lovely property and has un-interupted views of the ocean. We also noticed that a couple of items had been updated; just another note that the owner ensures everything is in best condition. Thanks Bernadette.
