Our stay was amazing. Best and quiet home with all the kitchen things you need. Beds were comfortable and home within walking distance of the ocean and local shops. We would easily stay here again. I would love to see maybe a smart tv or Netflix added to the tv as lazy afternoons would be more comfortable with something good to watch, as the selection of dvds isn’t the greatest.
Third time we have stayed, cannot say a bad word about the property. Great location for easy access to town, clean. Great communication with owner. Will stay again.
We loved it here. Perfect location for what we were there for. Very open and airy home with both comfort and practicality. Plenty of parking for our vehicles & great outdoor BBQ area.
It is a relaxing home to stay - we'll be back!
Large home in a great location where you can walk everywhere. Clean and easy to look after.Although ducted heating not working the reverse cycle in the back room was adequate.

We were so delighted with the house, position, set out, everything. The property was spotless. Plenty of cooking equipment, crockery & utensils for a large family. Perfect location.
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage feel home. Our family of 5 found all the comforts of home here and our children settled and slept peacefully each night. Perfect location, very close to all shops, restaurants and cafe's. Such a relaxing and peaceful family stay. # Amazing Bath! Thank You :)
My family stayed at this beautiful little house on the weekend and I was blown away how clean it was! Very close to town and to the water. We all had ample space and having the two bathrooms was great also. I certainly would recommend the house to anyone.
Our host was super responsive also which was great.
Convenient location and plenty of space for all family members. All you need in the kitchen in the way of utensils, crockery etc for ease of catering

About the host
Hosted by Fab Peda
I have been coming to Portland for many years mainly because of the fishing and fell in love with the place.
Why they chose this property
Just read what our guest are saying on our reviews! This historic house was originally built for an Irish shoe maker and his family in 1926. It has had a few renovations and additions over the years. I first laid eyes on this ugly duckling in 2008 and fell in love with it and its potential and decided to renovate it together with my father as i was awaiting the birth of our first child. This house has great memories so why don't you come and create some of your own.
What makes this property unique
Plenty of room whilst still a cosy home. Room for families, friends and of course the fishing boat! Airconditioned and fully heated. Park your car and forget about it as you unwind and walk everywhere whilst exploring the historic town.
