Nestled on Paperbark is a sunny spacious 4 bed home ready to welcome you to Inverloch. The house is unassuming from the street but deceptively spacious inside. All the bedrooms are larger than usual with built in robes. The main bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite, walk-in robe and air-conditioning. The second bedroom looks out onto the side garden and has a double bed. There is a games room with a tv, Wii and PS children's games, children's DVDs, some board games and a Fusball table.
The family room has plenty of space for entertaining and opens out onto a pergola covered deck which is sunny and warm in the morning and then shaded by the house after midday. There are dining tables seating 10 both indoors and outside, as well as a BBQ and a bi-fold kitchen window which makes outdoor meals a breeze. Leather sofas in the living area look to a flat screen TV with the back garden beyond. The family room is also air-conditioned and has large fans for when the doors are open.
Two more bedrooms are accessed from a hallway off the family room, one with two king singles and also a single bed which enjoys beautiful afternoon sun and the other with one king single and two single beds which looks out to the native back garden. The family bathroom, separate WC and well equipped laundry are located between these two bedrooms. A linen fee is automatically included in your booking quote but this is optional, so please ask and I can delete it.
The outdoor shower is just behind the garage so that when returning from the beach you can drop everything at the side gate and keep going round the house via the shower to the laundry door and the family bathroom.
The garage at the property is no longer available to guests as it provides storage for the tools and equipment used to maintain the property, which may present a danger to children. However there is parking for four cars on the drive in front of the garage. Please ask the owner is you anticipate needing more parking for your stay.
Leaving the front door, the SLSC and the main surf beach carpark are a 5 minute walk away. Turning in the other direction the beach is even closer via a path which cuts across Lohr Avenue and onto the beach near Wreck Creek. Further along Paperbark Place the creek runs from a shallow lake which is surrounded by reeds; standing here in the evening you have the roar of the surf on one side and frogs croaking in the lake on the other.
Early morning walks along the beach into town are recommended as an ideal start to the day and there are several options for coffee before the walk back. Alternatively a walk to the cliffs at the opposite end of the beach would take about 1/2 hour.
Inverloch is a 1 hour 45 minute drive from Melbourne. Follow the Monash freeway towards Warrigal and take the A422 south to Koo Wee Rup to join the South Gippsland highway which will take you to Inverloch via Wonthaggi.

A very spacious and clean family home. Walking distance to beach and great bike path into town. Everything easy to navigate, allowing maximum time for holiday relaxation. Would love to come back.
This was the perfect stay for our mums and son in search of dinosaurs and fossils. A short walk to the beach was wonderful and close to town too. The house was very spacious, clean and tidy.
We had a lovely stay in this really spacious, light, happy home. It is really close to the surf beach. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Very clean holiday house. Very spacious and can accommodate few families. The house is just a 150m walk to the beach through the Seaview street and a short drive to restaurants and supermarkets. I highly recommend this holiday house for a holiday with your family and friends.

Spacious, clean and comfortable modern home that's dog-friendly and set in a quiet street. Easy access to beach and everything's of the very highest quality (Furniture and appliances). We had a relaxing break and wouldn’t hesitate to return to this lovely home.
This property was better and bigger than we imagined. Beautifully equipped and maintained and in a wonderful area, walking distance to the beach. I can’t recommend this highly enough. It would be my first choice if I am back in this area.

Hello Ray,
Thank you for your lovely review, it's great to hear that our house exceeded your expectations. We think it is pretty special too. We'd love to welcome you back to Inverloch any time you are back in this part of the world.
This lovely holiday home was in the perfect location for us - Just a short stroll to the surf beach. It was very clean & had more than enough comfortable beds for us so everyone could have their own rooms. The extra games/tv room was great & we also used it for reading & meditation. The kitchen was modern & contained every pot, pan & utensil we needed as well as a really nice bbq on the deck. We enjoyed the CD collection & very much hope to come back & stay again. Thank you to Anne the owner for her quick response to our queries.
Beautiful house with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Anne is fantastic host, great communication. The house is in a terrific location, with easy walk to the beach. Would love to stay again.

My friends and I had an amazing time at Anne’s property. The house was large and beautiful. It seemed like she had thought of everything (and the coffee machine was a nice touch!). It was so close to the beach and had a massive entertaining area which was great when the weather turned. I would definitely stay here again!

Thank you Ken for your comments. One of our motivations for buying the house was that it is such a great place for multiple generations to enjoy family time and make memories together.
This is our family’s third stay at Nestled on Paperbark (8 of us). Such a comfortable and spacious home, very well appointed, very clean, with comfortable beds. Fantastic location just an easy 5 minute walk to patrolled surf beach. Can’t fault it and will be back next year. Thanks so much Anne.

Thank you Melissa, we really appreciate you choosing Nestled on Paperbark each year and love that the house plays a part in building your family memories year on year - as it does with our our family too.
A great house with everything you could think of (including the kitchen sink) If you are beachgoers , the house is literally a three minute walk away. Pet friendly as well ... A+
This is a great house to stay in. The layout is so liveable and there is plenty of room for everyone. Anne has thought of everything that you need in the house. Great to see enough seating for everyone. The high ceilings and highlight windows make it feel very airy and large. There is an added bonus games room plus a good outside space too. Easy walking distance to the surf beach and a nice neighbourhood.

Thank you so much Christine for your generous comments. We would love to welcome you back anytime. Anne
This is a large house with spacious rooms and is very well equipped. The location is perfect for the surf beach and in a quiet neighbourhood.
The only negative things I can say is that the 2nd double bed is small and would be better if a queen size, and that noise travels in the living space, minor issues really. We would definitely come back to this house.

Response from VrboOwner on 3 Apr 2020
Hi Kristin,
Thank you for your comments, it is lovely to hear that you would visit the house again and we would love to welcome you back!
The double bed in the second bedroom was a deliberate choice to give us flexibility. The house is often set up to accommodate craft retreats so a second single bed is often added to that room with the double and there would not be space for a larger queen bed.
I note your comment about noise from the living room travelling so I will see what I can do about that with soft furnshings etc.
Best wishes, Anne. Nestled on Paperbark
Our second time staying at Nestled on Paperbark. The house easily accommodates 2 families and is really well appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Couldn’t fault it! The location is quiet and just a 2 minute walk from the surf beach. Thanks Anne, we'd love to come back again next year!

Everything you could want & more!
Chose this house as our base for the Bass Coast Cycle Challenge. Ideal location - a short, flat ride into the town centre. Large, lockable garage to store bicycles. The owner has thought of everything from the fully equipped kitchen to the very comfortable beds. The accommodation is spacious, quiet and only a short walk to the surf beach. Will definitely book again!

Great property, Lovely Location & Enjoyable Stay
We had a fantastic time at the property with family and friends, the house was perfect for a group. The location is wonderful and close to the surf beach which the kids enjoyed. Enough space inside and secure backyard for kids to run around without trouble. One of the best short holiday experiences we had, credit to the owners for stocking the house with cricket bats, body boards etc. Highly recommended...

About the host
Hosted by Anne Mellor
Our family have enjoyed summers in Inverloch for over 30 years. The inlet each is perfect for toddlers with warm shallow pools and acres of sand at low tide. As the children got older we moved our attention to the surf beach for boogie boarding, learning to surf, sunbathing and generally hanging out with the many friends we have made down here over the years.
Why they chose this property
Although our house is very unassuming from the front, inside it has very spacious rooms with plenty of space for two families or an extended family group. Everything you need for a relaxed stay is provided and the garden provides both sunny and shaded areas all day long. The location so close to the patrolled surf beach is perfect and the 30-40 min walk into town means that it is easy to justify the coffee and croissant once you get there.
What makes this property unique
Nestled on Paperbark is the ideal surf-side home away from home for an extended family group or for two families holidaying together and only a few minutes walk to the patrolled beach.
