The place was clean when we get here. BUT there was a very heavy "dog smell" which we struggle with through out our stay.
If it was not the smell we would have considered coming back. The smell still lingers on couch and rug area. Please make sure someone takes care of it.
Other than place is perfect for 6 people.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback. We would have loved to fix or look into this issue for you as soon as you noticed the issue, if we had known about this when you stayed with us for the 2 nights. We have a note in the house on how to get in touch with the manager any time. We’ve been extra careful with our Covid related cleaning process and contact-less check-in/ check- out process. We also have a separate room inspection process before guest check-in. Safe travels.
The person at check in was very rude. She was "nice enough" and let us check in 5 minutes early as we hadnt slept in over 35 hours. (I had called hours before and asked if there was any way to get in early at all.) That was the only leniency she allowed. When we got to the "chalet" it was nothing like we expected. The OVEREWHELMING smell of pine sol made you sick. Floors were very sticky when you walked on them. Little things like no dish soap. No laundry soap. Games on the shelves in complete dissaray, but then the used soap in the shower, used shampoos/conditioners. There was also hair in the shower. There was also mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. There were sheets in the dryer. (Made you wonder if our sheets were actually changed)
We tried to watch some tv, but the satellite would not work. The person that came to fix that was EXTREMELY nice!!! Thank you for that. They offered us a glass of wine for our trouble with the TV, but we declined. Thanks again for trying!
The location was great if you're going to Mt. Rainier, but unfortunately that's really the only positive we have. This was our 2nd experience with a VRBO and it was nothing like our first. We weren't going to write this review, but my friend tried to talk to them privately and never got a response.
Hopefully things are addressed as it's a cute place... it just needs work and done one in one attention.

Nice property but doesn't sleep 8
Overall we had a nice stay - the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots, we appreciated the toiletries, and it was well setup. I would recommend to a friend!
But that said, the space does not sleep 8 as advertised. The pullout couch was the worst I've ever seen - actually just springs covered in fabric. My friends had to put cushions on the floor to sleep comfortably which isn't ideal when we paid for a place that should fit 8.
