About this property

Decked out on the Peninsula - Comfortable family home

The brick house is situated at the highest point of the block to take in the scenery. A closed off street down one end makes this the perfect quiet location as only residents use the street. Huge undercover deck with fan, outdoor table and seating for eight, a lounge area and a new Gas BBQ provided. Guaranteed this is where you will spend most of your time taking in the views towards Rosebud and Arthurs Seat.

The house has three bedrooms which sleep total of 7 adults/children, kitchen, lounge and a dining area with seating for eight. A newly renovated (Aug 2024) bathroom has a shower, toilet, vanity and storage cabinet. Laundry has a second separate toilet coming off it. Kitchen has all amenities with large fridge, microwave, air fryer, kettle/toaster and coffee machine. Washing machine provided. The house has a smoke detector, small fire extinguisher and kitchen blanket.

Fully fenced yard making it safe for children with ample parking for a boat or jet ski at the front if required and the back has a lovely flat levelled area for children to play. Guest St Milk Bar and Cafe is only 1 minute walk.

###Linen and towels can be provided for a fee or simply BYO your own Linen and towels. ###

Doonas, blankets and plenty of pillows are provided.

The house has air-conditioning in the living area which cools down the entire house and there are overhead fans in the Lounge Room and in all three bedrooms.

Ducted heating throughout the house for the winter months.

SORRY NO SCHOOLIES OR GROUPS UNDER 25 YEARS.

Strictly no smoking indoors.

Pets considered (outside only) with prior approval.

Local Attractions:
Only 1 km from the bay beach with Tootgarook boat launching ramp close by.
3 minutes drive to Peninsula Hot Springs, with Golf courses only minutes away too.
Cycling and walking trail along the foreshore.
A picturesque drive to Redhill and visit some of the best wineries and restaurants on offer.
Short drive to Arthurs Seat to take in the beautiful sites of Port Phillip Bay and while you are there don’t miss out on The Enchanted Adventure Garden and try Tree Surfing and the Big Zip Line.
Gunnamatta Back beach only a short drive away.
Tootgarook is a quiet suburb nestled between Rosebud and Rye with shops, takeaways, cafes only minutes away.
Head out to Portsea and enjoy exploring Point Nepean National Park.

Fabulous family home in lovely neighbourhood

Great property. Had everything we needed for our family to four. The milkbar and cafe at the end of the street are super handy. We had a great break and would highly recommend.

Overall, it was an okay stay. Check-in was super easy and smooth, which was great. Communication with the property manager was good and quick - initially when we did try book the property it did take awhile to get an answer.The location was really good and the place was mostly as described, but the cleanliness wasn’t quite there and could definitely be better. That took away from the experience a bit.Decent stay overall, but some improvements would make a big difference.

Brilliant deck & close to everything

We had a lovely holiday - the deck and BBQ set up was fabulous and the air conditioning and fans were great - the house was super tidy and had everything we needed. The section is steep but there’s flat space out the back which works for kids. Superb little cafe only 3 mins away too! Thank you for having us!

We had a great time at Kaz' s property. It's definitely great value for money. This property has great views and a perfect entertaining area out on the deck. There is a milk bar a short walk that provides all your needs. I would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic location, clean and quiet

Had a great stay - location was fantastic. Great little coffee shop and milk bar 100 metres away and a perfect no through road for our children to ride their bikes and play cricket. House was very clean and provided lots of little extras. The only suggestion I would make is that the locks on the doors weren't very safe - the flyscreen doors did not lock at all and the door locks weren't very strong. In addition, the instructions for using the tv were complicated, requiring three remotes to use it. My suggestion would be to simply have one remote for the tv.

Clean, comfortable and great deck!

We had a great weekend at this property. It is in a nice and quiet location, still close enough to walk to shops and beach. House is lovely and clean and the deck is the highlight. The owner (Kaz) was easy to deal with, even volunteering to separate the bunks for us. Highly recommend to pay extra for the linen as when you get there the beds are made up for you. Will definitely look to come back again.

Wonderful deck and clean house on a hill

We had a lovely stay at Decked out on the Peninsula. The location was really good, we explored the wineries in the area and drove down the coast while we were there! The deck was wonderful to enjoy a glass or two of wine. The house was clean and had everything we could need for a weekend away. I have just had ankle surgery and I'm not mobile enough to bring my own linen and make the beds. The owner provided linen and made the beds at a cost of $30 per bed - taken out of my deposit. If I stayed again, I'd definitely bring my own linen as it ended up costing a lot more than I originally expected.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Decked out on the Peninsula and Kas was very attentive when answering our emails and messages. We particularly enjoyed the decking out the front which offered a great view in a quiet area. We will definitely be back again!
