About Michelle and Andrew Woodhouse
We love to travel and explore all parts of Australia and the world and we are so lucky to live in the water paradise of Port Stephens. Travelling with our family means ensuring our dog can join us as well and ensuring that our guests (including our 4-legged ones!) have the best time in our beautiful area, is our number one joy.
Michelle and Andrew Woodhouse purchased this Cottage in 2015
Why Michelle and Andrew Woodhouse chose Shoal Bay
Shearwater Cottages is very special to us as our desire is that all members of the family have a great time and that guests can feel happy knowing that their 4-legged loved ones are safe and secure. Our cottages ensure that it is a 'home away from home' and dogs are welcome inside. All linen is provided as well as a breakfast selection to start your stay.
What makes this Cottage unique
Our cottages are comfortable, welcoming and located close to all the activities that Port Stephens has to offer including dog friendly beaches and parks. Enjoy the many beaches and waterways; swim, sunbake or read a book in the sun; take a dolphin or whale cruise; wander along the many walking trails; relax in quiet corners; enjoy the coffee shops, restaurants and speciality shops and simply relax and enjoy!

We stayed here when moving to Canberra for work with our two dogs and cat. The appartment was clean comfortable and welcoming. Would definatly stay here again if looking for a get away.
Lovely, clean, place to stay.
Was nice and clean, and well presented.
Breakfast pack was useful and dog treats a pleasure for the four legged one.
Great pet friendly property
We've now stayed at several properties and this one is the best so far. It was incredibly dog friendly. It was great to have our pet in the house with us. The back yard was very secure and our dog loved pottering around. The house itself is great, very clean, well presented and had everything we needed. We appreciated the breakfast basket. We will definitely be checking out their other property !
Hi Marion, thank you so much for your very kind review! It was lovely to have you stay with us and we look forward to you staying again or at our villas in Fingal Bay.
Perfect Pet Friendly Accommodation
I recently stayed at Shearwater Cottage 2 and it was lovely. Michelle & Andrew's place was clean, super pet friendly, and only a short walk to the bay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. They left a beautiful breakfast hamper which unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to take advantage of as I'd brought lots of my own food. They also left a little gift for my pupsicle. I was glad of the wi-fi and Chromecast as my first couple of days the weather was not the best. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michelle & Andrew's property and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
It was so lovely to have Jo (and our fur guest Ringo) stay with us. Thanks Jo for your very kind review!
