Beachcomber - Freycinet Holiday Houses

Beachcomber is an elevated two-bedroom beach house situated in a quiet, tranquil area. Guests can access Sandpiper Beach directly in front of the property via a short walk down Oyster Bay Court and along the waterfront track.
Explore, Relax and Rejuvenate at this delightful property. Proudly and professionally managed by Freycinet Holiday Houses.
The open plan living space includes lounge, dining and kitchen and has expansive views over Great Oyster Bay, as well as Freycinet National Park including glimpses of the Hazards. Beachcomber is a short drive to the world-famous Freycinet National Park and the Coles Bay township.
Beachcomber is ideal for one or two couples, a family, or the solo traveller.
Guests will enjoy stunning views in a light, sunny living space which is of passive solar design with sturdy blinds to control the sun’s entry depending on the season and the time of day. The house can be heated or cooled with a newly installed air conditioning unit.
Wi-Fi is available, with smart tv’s in the lounge and main bedroom.
The main bedroom has a queen bed while in the second bedroom offers the option of two singles or a king. Bedrooms have quality linen. The house has a laundry with washing machine and trough.

In the bathroom you’ll find basin and vanity, toilet, a shower over a bath, towels, and a hair dryer. The kitchen is full equipped with stove/oven, microwave, toaster, pod coffee machine, kettle, and fridge.
A large deck wraps around the front of the house and is equipped with outdoor furniture and a Webber BBQ. Guests can enjoy a fire pit area at the front of the house (May – September only).

Great Location

Great location. Communication with the property managers was excellent. The place is a bit tired though, needs a bit of TLC.

Relaxing and cosy

Beachcomber was a great place to stay to explore Freycinet. It was cosy and very warm in the cold weather, had everything we needed. View was great and host made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful spot and view. NO air con and can’t keep the sun out of the living area on a hot afternoon. Would rent again

House needs TLC

The house is ok overall but it needs some love. Little things like the cuttlery, crockery, jug, kitchen tap, dvd player are all very old or slightly broken. We couldn't use the iron as it was too stained. The house is poorly designed for hot weather. It was unbearable in the afternoons with no air con or ceiling fans. The house is on a septic system so you can't drink the water which is a bit annoying but not a deal breaker. Very poor shower also. The view is nice and the location is good for Freycinet, but we just felt uncomfortable most of the time.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen with a full set of dishes, plates, cups, glasses and cutlery for up to 4 guests. We have since your departure, sent additional stock to the house, to have it fully equipped with some extra utensils. There are large panoramic windows to let in all the natural light, ensuring guests have great views and allows a fresh breeze through the house. We are sorry you weren’t aware this property doesn’t have air conditioning. Please ensure if this is an important aspect for your stay, that you research the property and ensure the features you want are indeed provided, we don’t state this property has air conditioning system. We will certainly pass your feedback on to the owners, who have always been receptive and proactive with improvements at the property. This amazing property relies on “fresh rain” water, it is suggested to boil any rain water before drinking if preferred. We cater for visitors from all over the world and all have different preferences for drinking water. Again, thank you for your review and feedback. Amazing location

A fabulous location at Coles Bay, right near Freycinet National Park. Views overlook the bay - absolutely gorgeous! The house is fully kitted out and accommodating, although the beds aren't amazing unfortunately. Overall, thoroughly recommend a stay at Beachcomber.

I have informed the owners regarding the beds, although we haven't had this mentioned before, we will definitely look into the comfort of them and see if we need to replace mattresses. Fantastic Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything that you could need was here in a great location. We picked up some nice local produce and wine and cooked up a feast soaking up the great views over Coles Bay before we explored the nearby Freycinet NP the next day.
