The Space:

Breakwater is all about the ocean: the sound of the surf from the balcony, Main Beach right below, and Mauao at the end of your morning walk.



THE BALCONY

Your private balcony looks out over the ocean and comes with a BBQ and lounge dining. Settle in with a book or a cold drink, fire up the BBQ and watch the beach life below.



RESORT FACILITIES (SHARED)

Guests share the building's heated outdoor pool, spa pool, gym and sauna 7:30am-9pm. There's also a new outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach, and we supply beach towels, so leave yours at home.



THE LAYOUT

The apartment is reached by lift from the secure underground car park or the ground floor on level 4. Everything is on one level, with the kitchen and living area opening onto the balcony.]

The large kitchen has everything you need to cook in, and the living area has a dining table and Smart TV, air conditioning and heat pump.

Guest Access:

The whole apartment and balcony are yours. The heated pool, spa pool, gym and sauna are shared with other residents and guests of the building. You'll have one secure underground car park, a lift to the apartment and two keys.



CHECK-IN

Your Five Star Focused check-in guide arrives two days before arrival. For arrivals before 5pm, a member of our team meets you at the apartment to hand over keys and show you the building Arriving after 5pm? Self check-in instructions are in your guide.



Early check-in, late check-out and mid-stay cleans can be requested through the guest app, subject to availability.



The Neighborhood:

Breakwater sits on Main Beach in the heart of Mount Maunganui. Walk straight across to the beach.



Enjoy morning walks or sunset strolls along the stunning Mount Maunganui boardwalk, with easy access to Main Beach, ocean swimming, surfing, and beachfront dining. For panoramic Bay of Plenty views, explore the walking tracks at Papamoa Hills Regional Park nearby.

Getting Around:

The beach and the Mount's cafés and shops are all on foot, so most guests park the car on arrival and leave it there.



One secure underground car park is included, with a lift to the apartment. Travelling with a second car? Street parking is available with no restrictions.



Tauranga Airport is roughly a 10–15 minute drive. Taxis and Uber operate locally, and Baybus connects the Mount with Tauranga and Papamoa. A car is handy for day trips around the Bay of Plenty but not needed for the Mount itself.
