Pelican Cottage is located on the Muston Road a short 4 kms from the villiage of American River on the Dudley Peninsula to the East of Kangaroo Island.The cottage overlooks the Sanctuary waters of Pelican Lagoon a marine park where wildlife include sea birds, shorebirds, dolphins and many pelicans live. The sunset over the lagoon can be viewed from the house. Swimming beaches of Pennington Bay and Island Beach are 2 to 5 kms away. The port of Penneshaw is 35 kms from the cottage. The airport of Kingscote is 35 kms to the West. The largest town on Kangaroo Island is Kingscote and a 25 minute drive from the cottage.
