Good place for a family holiday with large group . Only 1 television was a bit of a challenge to keep the kids entertained in the evening while we watched the Olympics, but they managed.
Great location for chilling out an taking the distant islands of the coast. Only issue with accommodation , we had to clean the bins Maggots from bin as the previous bin services obivously wasn’t carried out for awhile.
Across the sand dune from beach. Had (almost) everything we needed in a quiet neighbourhood. No wifi and BBQ not present (but not listed anyway) - a BBQ would have been really useful as there was only an electric frypan to use. Induction cooktop if you thinking of bringing any of your own cook utensils such as an espresso coffee pot. Also there were absolutely no bedside tables or lamps. These were small things but showed a lack of love. The house wa no s in the middle of two lovely beaches an easy drive a few kms outside town. We would visit again.

Disappointing
Air con is sub standard no fans to compensate, yard overgrown making it hard to get in without scratching cars. No Bbq which we thought would be standard in qld. No welcome baskets or notes which we have seen everywhere else we have stayed one small clothes line and no way to dry clothes when raining
Property was perfectly positioned, loads of room, nice easy stroll to the beach.
"no bbq as listed in property details".
Property was abit unclean on arrival.
We really enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is the lack of air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms. They were intolerably hot even with the provided pedestal fans. There are two large air conditioners (one upstairs and one downstairs in the rumpus room) but the cool air didn't reach the bedrooms. We had a great holiday though and the large deck at the front is fantastic.
It was a perfect place for us to stay. We were very impressed and felt that the price was good. The air-con upstairs and downstairs worked really well. The house was equipped far better than we expected. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We would recommend this place to any group of 6 or more.
Our stay was a little dissapointing as the weather decided to stop us from fishing, the winds were very bad, the house was clean and well looked after, and over the dunes was the beach. you would have no problem if you had a large family there is plenty of room and a bonus of a second bathroom. the house is fully stocked with ammenities although advertised as being able to BBQ, there is no BBQ to cook on, this was our only negative with the house, There is plenty of bird life and the red tailed black cockatoos come in to feed on the large fruit that drops of the huge tree in the front yard. to anyone who appreciates our native birds this was a huge bonus as this bird is on the endangered list. overall a very nice place to stay.

Great location, brilliant deck but no BBQ and kitchen needs pans
Lovely space and gorgeous location with just a stroll from the beach. Just a heads up though - there isn't any BBQ and the kitchen is very under resourced so we recommend bringing a decent frying pan or wok and a sharp knife.
Overall, we had a very relaxed and easy stay.
